Dear Himanshu,

 

Despite many pointers given and dozens of books and articles written by many

recent and ancient, pin-pointing one's exact profession and livelihood can be

challenging, even in cases where profession remained changed all through life.

There can be uncanny successes but not always in such prognostication.

 

It is not about 'difficulty' but paucity of pointers perhaps. There are only so

many planets, signs, houses, even if vargas were to be taken into consideration.

Surely, the melanges of planetary influences often gives very good hints but not

always the 'specific' profession. It is best for many of us to not get into the

mindset of one combination-one profession/avocation/trade etc. This may work at

times but may not often if we keep challenging the 'system' with more and more

tests! I do not mean testing others or publicly but even personal testing. Q9

 

I think that the problem with much of modern astrology is that articles and

books and messages (!) get written in such a black and white, definitive manner

that gives the impression that if A and B and C are there in a chart, they will

become 'D'. Not so! Claims notwithstanding, I urge each of us to test that for

themselves, (pick your favorite technique or software if that is what you think

is where the bottleneck is!) and please spend some time with each chart and do

not get discouraged if the answer does not pop right away.

 

Through rigorously and honestly examining tenets would one learn of the 'play'

or 'tolerances' in the *system* as engineers call it and through such a

systematic examination we can only grow wiser and feel th ground under our feet.

How can you save someone slipping away at the precipice of life and reaching out

to you for help and safety if your own feet are not anchored firmly or your

torso tied firmly to an OAK tree of certainty?

message. This being a sattwic forum one thing I know is that there will not be

it is true that Astrology some times takes up matters that it goes beyond it's

expeceted role as a subject of worth seriousness.

Shri Rohini ji,perfectly right when he says that issues relating to profession

can not be said with certainity.ofcourse vargas support natal chart but does not

provide room for quantification with qualitative base..

Even I have seen in the recent classifieds that effort for lively through

astrology has also adopted marketing technics.Like refund if you are not

satified with predictions.

In 1980 0ut of deperation I wrote to an Astrologer in Madras,he dleigently wrote

in hand and sent me an exercise book of 40 pages.In that his each and evry word

beyond and doubt are true and correct.Such is the firmness and devotion.Never he

claimed as such but his indications are correct.

Rohini Ji you are right taht Astrologers have to be sure of their firmness b4 we

making any revealations.

Satwics as eggarians have taken exception.so tefflon make no unpleasent ness
