Guest guest
/*hraum krishnaya namah*/ Dear Member , Its wide topic, but we can generally say that if Rasi is lacking in rajayogas then Vargas cant help much here. Normally we analyse Rajayogas with d1, d3 & d9, and its presence in other vargas will show influence in that particular area of life represented by the Varga. Guest guest
Namasthe, Dear Pankaj, There are actually two school of thoughts in this area a) All the charts are considered just like Rasi chart b) Rasi chakra is the absolute and varga chakras indicate only finer aspects of the absolute. That is varga chakras are never considered as chakras at all. This is much more complex to understand that the first method. Some times the Varga chakra is superimposed over the rasi chakra and the resultant chart and planet effects are interpretted is to say if you superimpose navamsa over rasi chakra you will have sun in two possitions etc. Here the attributes of Sun from the navamsa chart is also added to the attribute of sun in rasi chakra. The logical reason behind this method again is very complex. I am not sure I made it very clear to you. yet, for the time being , just understand that there are two methods. You will learn more as you move ahead. Keep your mind open. I hope this helps you. Guest guest
हरे राम कृष्ण Dear Pankaj, Namaskar. Principally they are, but the enjoyment is quite limited to the extent that we cannot really call them 'raja'-yogas. Rasi chart is essential for Rajayoga and is the most important in this matter. The divisional charts are then applied to confirm the strength of the yoga or if it will even manifest! Guest guest
Pankaj ji, Shenoy Ji has correctly expressed both alternative views. I want to point towards finer nuances. Your question has no straightforward answer in yes or no. There are two problems. One is related to the definition of Rajayoga. Another is related to relative importance of vargas wrt D1 in case of things related to persons having Raajayoga. Conditions like exaltation of dashamesh are also Raajayoga. These types of Raajayoga work in D10 too, esp when you evaluate D10 in Dashavarga or Shodashvarga according to vimshopaka strengths. But yogas based on aspects do not work in vargas, becase aspects in general do not work in varga (it is my experience). But I may modify my view, because aspect in other vargas do not manifest their potential due to higher vimshopaka strength of D1. D60 is the only varga which has higher vimshopaka than D1 , and D60 is all important for persons having Raajayoga. But D60 is hard to analyze due to accuracy needed in birthtime. More research is needed on D60 with those Raajayoga cases whose birthdata is reliable. Indian celebrities hide their real data. Aspects are based on particular magnitudes of difference between planetary positions. These magnitudes must be absolute, and therefore always based on D1. In other vargas, you have different positions of planets than D1, and therefore different aspects. In some vargas, you may even find yuti (conjunction) relation between lunar nodes, which is impossible in D1. I created aspect table in Kundalee software for all vargas to analyze this problem, and now I fear I should remove aspect table from all vargas except D1 because it may confuse learners, but I postponed this because further rersearch is needed on the applicability of aspects in other vargas. Yuti relation works in the case of other vargas. Hence, yogas based on yuti (conjunction) should work in other vargas too, but I have not researched it fully. Instead of answering your question in black and white, I have opened the problem further. Now I am putting my personal view. Excepting D60, all vargas are weaker in comparison to D1. Hence, even if yogas work in other vargas, they must be neglected unless the planets are too good or too bad to be neglected. -VJ ========================= === ________________________________ sureshbabuag <sureshbabuag Monday, May 18, 2009 4:47:50 PM Re: APPLICATION O F RAJYOGAS Namasthe, Dear Pankaj, There are actually two school of thoughts in this area a) All the charts are considered just like Rasi chart b) Rasi chakra is the absolute and varga chakras indicate only finer aspects of the absolute. Guest guest
Dear Bansal Ji, In addition to some very fine responses that you have received, assuming that you are a jyotishi or trying to learn jyotish and not one of those individuals who is totally self-absorbed in their personal chart, a caveat if I may: Just because there is a raj yoga or other yogas described in text, in a given chart even the D1 varga, please do not assume that it would fructify. As they say, there are many a slip between the cup and the lip. A Simple case in point: When strong rajyogas or mahapurusha yogas etc -- which make some jyotishis do a happy jig -- hundreds if not thousands may be born at the same moment or close to when the King's son gets born. Not all become Rajas, or live up to the same age or get married at the same time etc. Even identical twins born within minutes turn out to be radically different when they grow up. Something to consider ... Just a thought!
