As the horoscope week begins we are in a New Moon phase of growth and

understanding. Saturn the planet of karma is direct and at its midpoint, and

marking the 2nd half if it's transit through the sign of Virgo ruler of the 6th

house of work, procrastination and wasting time. What can we expect? Since

Saturn was the adopted ruler or ancient ruler of Aquarius, before the discovery

of Uranus, (its current ruling planet), Saturn has an unmistakable affinity to

the sign of Aquarius. They click. Saturn in Virgo represents our past; the

sign of Aquarius represents our future. Currently transiting in the sign of

Aquarius, the planets Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune are transiting in unison and a

bridge is created from the past to the future. Saturn in Virgo represents the

past of toil, heavy obligations, responsibilities and work that is not yours

anymore and in sense slavery. Slavery to others, slavery to routine, slavery to

a job or boss, slavery to worry, doubt and insecurities, slavery to imagined

obligations and slavery to the idea that by doing something for someone, working

for someone and somehow this will benefit you in some contrived way down the

line, but all you find is that you have wasted your time. By now you probably

have noticed all the negative problems that can come along with Saturn in Virgo.

On the other hand you may have been presented with opportunities to expand, and

align yourself with more powerful forces than you could ever imagine. Have you

taken those opportunities or have you sunk back to the cycle of servitude? If

you have planets in the later degrees from 25*-28*, Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune

could be giving you new opportunities to advance in another direction. If those

planets are in a square or in the signs of Taurus, Leo, or Scorpio, you might be

asked to make a sacrifice or big decision to reap the benefits of stronger group

alliances or partnerships. Or your rebellious and freedom loving nature could

prohibit you from doing so, because others see you too much as a risk to invite

you along to the party. You may be more apt to swim against the current and not

with it. Since energy travels the lines of least resistance, with a square

opposition or yod, it's not so easy to recognize an opportunity, because facing

you is your ego or yourself you could be afraid of giving up your ego or giving

up attention, to work together as a team. This period of time, is a time of

making alliances that pull you out of past patterns and habits. We can't do it
