But I have a question say one has jupiter in mercury nakshatra, where jupiter is strong planet and mercury is weak in the horoscope. Does the yellow sapphire stone does more good or bad to the mercury? And also like to know how does it effect in lunar nodes (rahu & ketu) nakshatras. Guest guest Posted June 9, 2009 Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 Dear Mr Rakesh, The question is yellow saphire relating jupiter.Irrespective of nakshtra belongs to mercury or some other planet.one can wear,if jupiter gets related to lagna,panchmam or navamam.In case if dasa of jupiter is running and is in ayway influencing in transit wearing sapphire for a limited time is also not bad. But remember,that Gems are necessary,if only no other remedy could help the native.Also the Gem stone has to be free from structural aspects and doshas. (1) genune gemstone tested by x-ray in a laboratory (2)free from cracks (3) free from scratch (4) free from bubble (5) collected in a good muhurta (6) to be worn in a good muhurta (7) must not be representing planet who is maraka, placed in rasi, navamsa or nakshatra of a maraka or badhaka or khara planet, or a plaent devoid of its basic strengths. In the absence of availabiliy of good astrologers on muhurta, they must be worn during Brahma Muhurta. But all other conditions 1,2,3,4, and 7 must be fulfilled. Condition NO.7 is the most important condition to check about the possible side effects of the gemstones.
