And while I have *your* attention, the " gutthi " can be extended to the big

Divide of recent centuries: RACE!

A taxonomist might say that what we call the different races, white, black,

yellow etc (commonplace terms though there may be more technical terms for them

used by socio-anthropologists) are really not as far apart to be called

different!

But even those cannot be perfectly identified in a chart. A chart would not tell

you if the nativity was born white, brown or whatever! You might have better

chances by guessing it from the birthplace, although it is getting more

difficult increasingly!

And yet, uncannily so, one may have better success if one looks at the matter of

other races and cultures astrologically! There are indicators which may indicate

association with 'other' cultures and 'races'.

Astrology, perhaps is about 'relativity' and not absoluteness! In the biological

system, there are sensors within our body that sense such relative shifts, or

changes even though they may not be able to tell the absolute and exact value:

temperature, carbon dioxide, pressures, glucose, etc etc etc! The study of human

experience through astrology remains incomplete without learning about the human

being! Its physics, chemistry, biology, sociology, geneology! As opposed to

trying to understand the human being through a study of its environment which

can change and is not even reliably defined!

The illness last as long as the retrograde. Another negative side effect is that

I have little motivation to do my sadana. I do not feel God's presence in my

life. I also have a strong desire to eat tamasic foods. The normal stuff that

usually happens during the Mercury retrogrades, like my car breaking down,

always happen to me.

Dear Dada

These are very interesting and inquistive questions that only makesAstrology

more assimilative compared to other fields of knowledge.

If we consider origing of Astrology has come through study of Environment as

experienced and felt by human beings without naming them as seperate fields, the

knowledge of planets becomes very very pertinent. But any link has been made to

the social institution through 9th house is thepertinent.

if 9th is Guru, teacher and also the father(elder person/head) the reason must

be a human being has to be made be effective and social responsibilty aspect

must be the cause to give significnace.

Religion as such brings into focus element of choice with logic to consider what

can shape up human being devoid of bad influences and project in their own way

and define what is good and bad.Religions too tried to impress humans that they

are all nimit matras and lives are very temporary and tried inculacate a fear of

unknown to derive attention to the religion.where as ancient scriptures without

touching into exteriors of human living aspecttired to deal with innate and

purified thing as soul and braha which we call a spirtual aspects. But these

terminologies that have been revealed through importantly three maina house whic

we know as lagna,5th as we know of connectivity of past with present and finally

the visible aspect of present learnt through Guru, father as Dharma and the

institution aroun with the frame work of good and bad preched through

pastors/parvaktas/Mata Gurus/finally sergeants of religions to asses the extent

of bondship between human

beings.

" The study of human experience through astrology remains incomplete without

learning about the human being! "

Any learning about fellow human being is only through the Guru.father and here

we are not considering mother as her role was always invisible and behind

the " parda " as giver of basic emotions and feelings.

Having done  this in a limited way and not very painstakingly to explore and

come out any kind of analysis ,Guru has stepped into rolepaly to bring awareness

to the humanbeing otherwise innocent and confused.Guru and father took up the

role of media for any kind of study of environment.

Their experiences as human beings and with the fear of unknown gradually turned

to faiths and pravaktas to hear to them and to join together to initiate " a

social momentum " to the otherwise docile human beings. Here Role of culture

prevailing has come to into picture as how humans have adopted themselves to

environment and the castes for divison of labour purpose helped one and all

amking religion as easily penetratable issue into the mind and to find the

influnce on human mind.

_understand the human being through a study of its environment which can change

and is not even reliably defined!

Environment changes and it's reliability in the change and consequences to the

changes being uncertain again it is the religion that grabbed situation to

explain human beings how environment effects.Role of gender classification and

bringing identity in their feelings and bind society into some role paly.

These aspects though not covered openly but study of zodiacal system has taken

into it's entiriety all that taxonomy that could be made into those days.

So the issue whether scriptures are older or Astrology is older to scripture is

an evolutionary aspect.Infact it is the scripture that revealed the role of

Astrology can contribute,by study through environement by idetification of

palnetes and their experiences.

Dear Rohinirajan Ji; I read with interest your postings. I am not an astrologer

.. I am an engineer by profession and did my MBA. By nature I am analyst. I enjoy

your reasoning and the way you explain astrology and for that matter human

nature in general. By reading your postings I have developed respect for the

issues which can not be readily analyzed mathematically or can not be easily

explained by what is commonly termed as scientific deduction and scalability.

I appreciate your knowledge and more importantly your ability to explain issues.

Thanks

Ashok Goswami
