it is a ver good case study irrespective of the BT correctness, the effort,

analysis is v good and surely helps set the spirit of pursuing events, facts

relationship astrologically.

 

for nearly 2 hrs i was on a call from Blr so replying now, Nandana has also

This is only an attempt to study the chart and in no way conclusive about the

Time of Birth of the Pop-Singer. I do not claim it to be complete also since

there are a lot of factors to be cross checked before arriving to a conclusion.

neverthless I believe, this might help in some way to understand the chart a

little better.

 

There are a lot of websites giving different TOB and none of them is authentic

and hence the controvercy.

individual is and that is what astrologers are supposed to delve upon – to

distinguish between the bran from the brawn.

probably show what he actually was as a human being. This should also give us a

strong base to debate and work on the attempt to find out the time of birth.

This is just a quick shot at fixing the time of birth. Though, it may not prove

to be correct, I take this opportunity to bring some arguments and salient

points which are usually ignored but are relevant in accessing a chart

irrespective of their celebrity nature.

 

It seems that there is also a controversy regarding the time zone with jhora

giving 6.00hrs while most of the other sites gives 5.00hrs. The computation

below assumes the time zone to be 5.00 hrs if you compute with 6.00 change the

time accordingly.

 

Since he is reasonably tall (almost 6ft) the birth should be in the vicinity of

kanya / thula sign.

 

Accordingly, the time of birth could be 10.10 am.

 

1) Factor : Drekana of Lagna / 10th Bhava. & Profession

Kanya Lagna

 

If we consider the lagna to the 3rd drekana of kanaya sign, the 10th bhava shall

fall in the 3rd drekana of the Gemini sign. This very much indicate his

profession of music, dancing etc. The description of the 3rd drekana of Gemini

is as follows.

This description goes well with his profession and charecteristic- a Male

engaged in dancing & music & composition.

 

 

2) Ayush : 53 years as per Drekana/Navamsa/ Dwadasamsa based calculation. I

haven't computed the Amsayu. No other computations compares with this span of

life for this assumed time. .

 

Dasa : at the time of death : Mercury : Rahu : Sun

 

3) Death : Mercury is Retrograde, combust and in the 12th from lagna. Rahu is in

the 2nd – Maraka sthana & and along with 6th lord Jupiter who is in Satur

rasi. Jupiter + Rahu is also aspected by Mars 8th lord. Sun and Natural malefic

is also 12th lord. In bhava chart Mars is in the 10th of Sun hence aspects sun

with the 4th drishti. He was in coma (Rahu) may be due to drugs & subsequent

heart failure (Sun) is thus explained.

 

4) Height is easily explained due to kanya rasi deergha swabhava.

 

5) Burned face : 2nd house which indicates the face Rahu aspected by 3rd lord

Mars. Further 3rd house is also having Saturn+ Gulika. Cosmetic surgery &

reworked appearance can be attributed to rahu. Rahu in the 2nd associate with

3rd lord is said to give facial / dental problems. Surgery is definitely

attributed to Mars. Jupiter association as a natural benefic can be said to have

helped in remedying the damage.

 

6) Appearance: being kanya rasi – a stree rasi and moon in Kumbha- a purusha

rasi & Makara Navamsa- again a stree rasi can be assumed to have given a duality

of physic & appearance.

 

7) Finance: Jupiter in the 2nd aspected by Mars & 2nd lord Venus in the 11th

made him very rich. However, Jupiter being dhana karaka (karaka griha in karaka

sthana) along with Rahu made him a reckless in spending, a spendthrift, luxury

seeking person and hence lost a huge amount of money pushing to financial debts.

Lagna Lord Mercury + Sun in the 12th Vyaya bhava can also be said to have

contributed to the losses.

 

8) Severe physical & back problem. Mars a natural malefic & 8th lord in

association with Rahu-Ketu axis can be said to given this problem with his

spinal cord. Rahu-Ketu axis can be attributed to spinal cord & central nervous

system. Any malefic affliction to this axis will give back pain and damage to

this part. Depending on the position of the malefic planets (near rahu or ketu )

and on sign afflicted, we can determine the nature of damage & position of

damage. This method is also used to find the damage caused to Dwaja Sthamabha in

temples during Ashtamangala prasna.

 

For absolute affliction this combination should be in lagna (Rahu-ketu in

lagna). This is another reason why I an inclined to consider 3rd drekana of

Kanya, which in Bhava chart places rahu in lagna. Proximity of Mars with ketu

also proves that the affliction is due to wear of bones of spinal cord giving

arthritis / sodalities in the region of neck.

 

9) Marriage: 7th lord Jupiter in the 2nd along with Rahu aspected by 8th lord

Mars. What more do one require to understand broken marriages, particularly with

mercurian lagna & Jupiter as seventh lord. How many post are we receiving with

marriage issues with these lagna?. How many more have we encountered during our

years of experience?

Children : the same combination as explained above can be said to have

contributed to issues related with children.

 

10) Children : 2 by second wife and an unknown child. 1st is a boy, then a girl

and the medically engineered child is also a boy.

 

I believe Jupiter as santhana karaka is having the final say in the matter of

children. Jupiter is in the 2nd navamsa in vrischika. The first one being Thula

sign where Rahu is also occupying gave the first 2 children (thula – male),

Rahu-Female child & the vrischika sign with Saturn gave an adopted like

medically engineered child. There is also another possibility. Jupiter's first

navamsa being male gave the male child, second being female gave female child

and the 5th lord satur in own navamsa of the 6th house (Kumbha) and aspected by

Sun & Mercury gave medical child. This seems to be a more plausible explanation.

More over the role of venus aspecting the 5th house also need to be considered.

 

We could have considered the mercury as 5th lord but for its only navamsa in

Aries sign with Mars + Ketu occupying it.

 

Regarding Marriage & Children we have to consider the moon position also. Moon

is having paksha bala and is placed in Kumbha rasi which is a human sign.

 

Sun being the 7th lord and in own house also contributed to the characteristic

of the wife. Mercury there should represent his first wife related to arts and

the Sun represents a person in medical profession. The facial features and

physic of the second wife very nearly represents the Simha sign and coupled with

Jupiter the 7th lord from Lagna made a much more fatter, well built than the

native.

 

11) Illness etc: lagna lord mercury is retrograde and is combust in the 12th

aspected by moon and Saturn. Skin afflictions can easily be understood from

this. Mercury is also having navamsa in the sign occupied by Ketu. Venus in the

6th of moon may have also contributed to the illness factor.

 

12) financial problems, litigations etc. 2nd house having Jupiter & rahu itself

is enough to give financial problems. Rahu in the second is responsible to make

him a spendthrift spending huge money for luxuries and frivolous things. Further

the moon Labhadhipathy in the placed in the 6th a duritha sthana / house of

litigations / debts etc. and aspected by the 12th lord Sun and lagna lord

mercury. Sun indicating government and mercury aspect should be reason for

compromises and out court settlements. 2nd house is also aspected by 8th lord

who is along with ketu. This can be said to be another reason why he lost most

of his money and fell into huge debt. He also lost his landed property

represented by Jupiter.

 

13) Changing of caste : Jupiter+ Rahu – chandala yoga, in the lagna in bhava

chart. this factor since it is from Bhava chart which is not visible in the rasi

chart, the result also became a controversy.

 

 

Now let us try to understand the dasa system.

Death : Mercury-Rahu- Sun

1st marriage : May-1994 : Saturn-Rahu- Ketu / Venus

Saturn being the Chandra lord and rahu along with Jupiter the 7th lord. Venus /

Ketu are associated with the Jupiter being in the Kendra and Venus being the

Jupiter's sign lord and kalatra karaka.

 

divorce after 2 years during Saturn-Jupiter : very much evident from above

explanations due to proximity of Rahu & aspect of mars and the first marriage

happened during the malefic planets period which did not had any direct

relationship with the 7th.

 

2nd marriage around 1996 : Saturn-Jupiter till 30-Nov-1997 : again same as

above. However, Jupiter being the 7th lord, the marriage also gave him two

children though did not survive due to the above reasons.

 

hence the first child must have been born during this period (wife seems to be

pregnant even before marriage) and the second in Mercury-Mercury period. Saturn

is the 5th lord and Jupiter is the santhana karaka. Mercury is also the 5th lord

from moon and lagna lord.

 

divorce in 1999. during Mercury-Mercury Retrograde lagna lord mercury in the

7th of Moon and 12th of lagna.

 

Third child in 2002 during Mercury-Venus : venus aspects the 5th bhava and has

navamsa there.

 

The factors regarding his rise in the music world and turning into a huge

business for others and himself can only be attributed to the Mars – Jupiter

aspect in the 2nd and Moon+Sun+Mercury combination.

 

There are many more factors to be checked before arriving at the correct time

such as effects of Navamsa, Dwadasamsa, aspects, kalahora, Chandra kriya,

Chandra avastha, Chandra vela etc.
