Stomach is ruled by Leo and Abdomen by Virgo and Lower Abdomen by Libra. 'Prana Vayu' is ruled by Saturn. But I am unable to equate 'Prana' with 'respiratory system'. What matters most is the overall holistic analysis of the chart. Though by the word " air " we mainly refer to Oxygen, " Prana " has a much wider meaning and usage. This is very large topic and I don't think this is the current topic of discussion - It enters a totaly different dimension!!. However, " respiratory system " means the system / mechanism / parts of the body that help in respiration (inhale / exhale), retention of air etc. Every cell (billions) in the body needs air. so also other organs including brain. Blood cells transport this oxygen to these parts. but that does not make blood part of respiratory system. Similarly just because veins, arteries etc transport blood that does not mean they are ruled by moon(karaka for blood) either. Similarly how can the mechanism that helps the inthale / exhale / retention / purification etc be equated to the air itself?. Though we jokingly say " flesh & bones " , that is very true externaly since the solid mass of the body is made of Bones in various forms (not shapes) ruled by Sun & flesh / muscle fibers of various types.ruled by Mars. Hence, if Sun is strong in chatushpad sign like leo , taurus etc, the person is bound to have strong bones while if Mars is strong such persons shall have stronger muscles just like athlets. Some persons will be well built & trim but weigh heavy - mostly due to their heavier bone structure.
