Guest guest
aham brahma...... .... is not for those who have a worldly sense of identity (aham-kaara) which is not real identity. It is hypocritical to keep two identities : one ahamkaara, and another soul. One must be subdued. when ahamkaara is destroyed, soul becomes one with Brahma. God is Consciousness, and Consciousness is indistinguishable from the source of language. Hence, it is too human to say God created language. Vedic Language was never created, it is beyong Time and Space. ________________________________ sureshbabuag <sureshbabuag Monday, July 13, 2009 2:37:08 PM Re: Astrology -- Teray Kitnay Roop...! >>given by God.?? who? god? aham brahma...... .... , Vinay Jha <vinayjhaa16@ ...> wrote: > > Those who were nearer to the First Man said that language was given by God. > > > > > ____________ _________ _________ __ > Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan@ ...> > > Monday, July 13, 2009 10:15:47 AM > Re: Astrology -- Teray Kitnay Roop...! > > > > > > They created, Shenoy ji? :-) > > How old was the very first ever human being that 'spoke'? > > I never ran into a bull who spoke that way but I have seen a few " parrots " doing exactly that in my short lifetime ;-) > > And when the doting crowds departed (I was in stealth mode, still listening... ) the gyani parrot danced a jig and said, " Kachar koti - doodh roti, Miththuu maangay mirchi! Guest guest
Shenoy-ji, Why do you say this about Indians? After WWII, as Japan was coming out of the mess that USA and Allied forces left it in, it began its technological and industrial revolution quietly and Japan became known for its cheaper imitation but functional goods all over the world while England and Germany and Switzerland remained the Woolmarks of Quality in cars, cameras, machines. Over a few decades, Japan began to focus on quality and its Nikons, Canons, Toyotas, Akais and many other brands are now the monnikers of Globally-accepted quality! While Mercs and BMWs mostly stay in 'shops' Toyotas and Lexuses simply roll along relentlessly from what I have been told by users. I saw that happen with South Korea too. Shoddy imitations have now developed into affordable and functional options and perhaps will continue to improve as long as North Korea continues to focus on Hawaii and USA and ignores S. Korea! China too but the progress is slow in going from imitation to becoming a Marquee! Strangely, Russia the Bear never delivered! Its products have remained average or worse. Again, I am talking about cars, cameras and other electronic products... Also East Germany despite Dresden and Exacta, Tessar and Practica and original Schneider etc (any photography buffs hang out here?) Imitation may be the best form of flattery but must be the inspiration not the goal! Japan may have imitated UK, Germany and so on, but proved to the world that the adage/kahawat is true: Guru Gud Chelaa Chinee (sugar!) Guest guest
Dear RR ji, Haven't you answered your own question. Suzuki launched their cars in Korea with daewoo at the same time they launched in India. Even after almost 30 years we are still begging suzuki for gear box technology while deawoo launched their own cars way back with their own technology. It is another matter that deawoo flipped but others too have. The problem is while others base economic development with a strong culture roots, we do not care what we loose for the sake of development and reach nowhere. While every contry / cvilisation are proud of their culture whatever it is worth, we take pride in discarding what we are truly (in becoming " Parrots " ). Just take a look at Sethusamudram A.G.Suresh Babu Shenoy , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Shenoy-ji, > > Why do you say this about Indians? Guest guest
Shenoy Ji, God is Consciousness and God created Consciousness are quite different things. For mortals, consciousness is impossible to cognise without language, but real consciousness is beyond words. hence, god is Consciousness, but God is not language in normal sense of the term. But vedic language is an exception. Try to deduce the etymological meanings of terms like bhraatar, agni, etc. You will find that these words evolved in an environment devoid of human requirements. Human consciousness works in quanta of words. But real Consciousness is like a superconducting fluid. -VJ ________________________________ sureshbabuag <sureshbabuag Monday, July 13, 2009 5:27:04 PM Re: Astrology -- Teray Kitnay Roop...! >>Hence, it is too human to say God created language >>language was given by God is this not contradiction? , Vinay Jha <vinayjhaa16@ ...> wrote: > > aham brahma...... .... is not for those who have a worldly sense of identity (aham-kaara) which is not real identity.
