Guest guest
Oh absolutely! I think Prashant jee and Tanvir have both been put to test and challenge many times and both have worked wonderfully well together. The worst thing and show of non-confidence that an owner can do is to jump in. This would demonstrate that he does not trust the moderator or his capability. Tanvir by staying mostly quiet has silently voice his full confidence in Prashant ji, and has given Prashant ji an opportunity to fight these so called flame wars in avery even keeled manner and to show all of us his true grit and through each of these little skirmishes and skid-rows as they call these perturbations his good sense of understanding the human nature. Trust me, moderatorship teaches a lot of people skills! :-) I am sure this would not be the last time when asteroids and comets would enter our air space and create friction and heat! But like all such celestial bodies, they would either burn out of keep on going and influence some other planetary forum ;-) Meanwhile, the rest of the gentry wakes up and watches the light show of Mayavini Madam JwALATARANGA! ;-D RR , vattem krishnan <bursar_99 wrote: > > The effort certainly can not be singled out.with valuble advices and with indepth study of problem raised by members, several members with their expertise need also extend support to the moderator to control the extraneous issues and bring in discipline.wish a great future ahead.let's resolve to remove unwanted apprehensions.when the going is good if somebody brags we need not get diverted from our basic motto that is to keep the image going high and high.Prashnat Ji desrves commendations > vrkrishnan > > --- On Fri, 7/24/09, sureshbabuag <sureshbabuag wrote: > > > sureshbabuag <sureshbabuag > Membership of this group 10K+ > > Friday, July 24, 2009, 10:09 AM > > > > > > > Dear Prashant, > > Congradulations for crossing 10K + membership in this group. Guest guest
dear friends whenever a group achieves certain milestones, due appreciation is given to the owner and moderator. prashantji has done a great job in ensuring the members not to receive worst vulgar slang language mails which were witnessed in this group when he joined as a moderator. once again i advise prashantji through this mail that he shall publicly restate once again that he treats all members equally and has no hatred against anyone (including bhaskarji) and at the same time respect the freedom and liberty of a member to express his or her thoughts without fear of getting banned. what is happening in one group shall be dealt only in that group and he shall desist in writing in other groups on internal group skirmishes. accordingly, i wish to make another attempt to bring the two grieved members prashantji and bhaskarji who both are tall in their own ways. for this the following will surely work, if both have a will or wish to do so. 1. commit to yourself that you would not write a single word negative about the other for one year either in this (own) group or elsewhere. 2. forget who did what earlier. it is like one chanting shatanamavali not realising that the other can retort by chanting sahasranamavali. 3. bhaskarji may contribute occassionally or time permitting in JR and prashantji may contribute occassionally or time permitting in JG. the above three are sufficient positive steps on these two stars to shine brightly and help the cause of jyotisha and benefit the members. members may be aware that prashantji was writing in almost all astrology groups reading all queries and proved consistently that he is a contributor unparallel in answering queries. his energy levels in answering so many queries in so many groups consistently is extraordinary notwithstanding his physical constraints and i give full appreciation for this service. similarly bhaksarji has shared mostly on jyotish subject even in those groups like AIA which are dedicatedly only for subject with no readings and commercial customer attraction. bhaskarji contributed most mails in many groups only to share and shine the jyotisha subject further brightly and in my best memory had no enemy in any group. initially he was hot few years ago but over the last few years he is more matured and seasoned. last but most important is that both shall if at all wish to write something to each other in public or private, CONVEY in a polite positive diplomatic language and the other is intelligent enough to understand. prashantji has demonstrated good tolerance in these couple of years and would expect him to continue his good wor and create freiends and spare no effort in converting foes to friends both in letter and spirit, in word and deed. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Oh absolutely! Guest guest
Dear Arjun ji, Thank you Sir for your supportive message! Speaking for myself personally, I would hope that we all realize that Jyotishis in the bigger worldly scheme of things are treated as a group, a class, a cohort! And in that sense we are a minority, regardless of our 10K or 12K strong groups with many redundancies! Instead of us sharing in silos, and those do have a place too and purpose -- it would be wonderful to hear the voices of all experts right here, where most of them began if I recall correctly! For me, Jyotish_Group is kind of the alma mater for it evolved from the original Jyotish List started by Ben Collins and where I met the great KNRao and Sri Rath and many others directly -- and hence even if Jyotish Group is a very different institution now, I visit it often! Why can not the members of feel the same way and visit and contribute here? It is never about the building or the teachers or individuals! It is always about memories of those times where you were in the classroom wher you belonged once and learned from! Guest guest
Dear Shri Punditji and Shri RR ji, Namaste. I appreciate you mail which speaks of binding together, rather than moving away. I am ready for same, and in fact not only for one year- But am ready to stay silent in matter of Prashant ji, even for Life time as regards to negative talking is concerned, but is he ready for this ? He does not wish to forget the past and brings it in the present in every mail. Whereas I always believe in starting anew after forgiving and forgetting on both sides. My offer of coming to his city (Hyderabad or Madras wherever) is still standing on, and am ready to come and have Rice Lunch with him lovingly if he allows me to (Without him mixing some poison in my rice - Ha Ha ). As regards to writing in this Group, he must have no problem from my side if under the gaze of you seniors and good men, the activities are conducted, there must be no problem at all. But he allows my mails only selectively and then writes a thesis on same in reply, extolling his good qualities while showing me in bad light. This must stop. He must otherwise also not have any problem since this Group is owned by Tanvirji and Tanvirji has allowed all astrologers to work here, so I should not be missing from here unless he himself asks me to leave. And anyways I have stopped reading for free, and do so only selectively. So where do I enter the competetion or in the race? As regards to him writing on my Group, I am not big hearted like Tanvirji and a middle class man who has created a Group to function both as a shop as well as ashram. Yet if you are aware and appreciate, I am the person who writes replies on my own Group the most less number of times, and allow others to write the same. I see no reason why Prashant ji cannot do so, and I offer my words that he will not be attacked or pushed in a corner in My Group. I am not made of that type of stuff. And do not like to corner anyone without allowing him to first strengthen himself and come on par with me. In any case I would be the most happiest person if I can contribute to the lot of " astrological science " and " astrologers " , and if they can take some advantage of the forum created by me, it would be no less than a blessing for me. He is most welcome to joing Jyotish_Ganga as a writer and I would be genuinely glad to have him there. I do not have any personal enmity with Prashant ji. He too is a son of some loving parents just as me and you are. Please let me know. I am ready to close this chapter for once and for all. The ball is in Prashantjis court, but please request him now not to write a big thesis in reply. Is he willing to forgiveand forget and let Go ? Yes or No. If yes, then let him send a first mail on Jyotish Ganga and express his happiness at being there. So will I do it here. best wishes and regards. Bhaskar. N.B. Guest guest
Dear Shri RR ji, Your mail echoes my feelings too. This Group has been an alma mater to me too. My First Group where I sharpened my skills and gained confidence in my own astrological abilities. How can I forget this. It is my childhood school and close to my heart, for which I have always wished well. I long for those members to come back like those olden golden days where we could discuss freely on any topic astro or just daily affairs, jokes, small disagreements, especially your messages full of Super English which made me feel inferior because I had to read those twice to understand them fully, and I always prided myself of coming from a Roman Catholic school - Don Bosco. (All pride shattered after trying to understand your Englis. Ha Ha. ) Let the Moderator of this Group bring back the warmth of that Home back to all of us past students, I request him earnestly. best wishes, Bhaskar. , " Rohiniranjan " <rohini_ranjan wrote: > > Dear Arjun ji, > > Thank you Sir for your supportive message! > > Speaking for myself personally, I would hope that we all realize that Jyotishis in the bigger worldly scheme of things are treated as a group, a class, a cohort! Guest guest
Dear RRji, Arjun ji Well both of u being senior in the groups than us, ur complementary messages r a reflection of the environment in the group under moderation this was EVEN BETTER DURING ASHUTOSH Ji's time who was v strict, ppl called it undemocratic, so I tried a mixed approach. I gave previleges I never got from my detractors when abused in other places I never get a chance to reply, but when he is abused here by others I have given him enuf info, space., time I never claimed credit for either the number of members or no of posts that come. ALL I HAD SAID IN A PEACEFUL ROOM it has grown well that too with many memebrs doing their bit i have THANKED, named them periodically. but this is twisted in sarcaism, abuses on me I never knew of the stats till these came in the abuses from time to time in other forums. I never knew where the nos existed till then, just ddi moderation alone, later found that JR is founded on 20/3/03, va on 17/9/98 and when he first raised it they were above 11k THIS ACTUAL FIGURE IS IN THE MARCH POST ARCHIVES, can be seen but falsely giving figures only made me look ahead Me and the owner of this group TANVIR JI, were singled out for doing some illegal, anti national things without any proof and by hook and crook i got this role. at least 3 groups r litered with these baseless charges and after shooting one u call for peace - PEACE OF THE GRAVE YARD]. if the thesis is coming it is only to unmask the falsehood, else a sheer waste of time.If i could help not doing it. more than others he knows my commitments and can spare time only where i can spend time for me if I have to even think of any further concessions let me get my MEMBERSHP BAN in VA reversed can think of joining his group, but can participate on v v few days in VA itself u can see in past 18-20 months my avg presence was once in 3-4 weeks, in JV, JG even less. one has to justify the time one spends even if little must be purpouseful, Jyotishya is one that needs a dedicated, mentally free time we can't afford to make mistakes, whever i do I have apologiesed and re-written them, in face to face sittings we verify birth data in groups we dont get such luxury never escaped under suspicious time, like most of us we take it in our stride/ I never believed in banning anyone max moderation as the subject must not suffer due to indiviudal differences. never prevented any astrological post from a novice to a long standing member we must not be self-appointed jidges membership is mature enough to decide them but strong actions I have taken inthe past week end and new ones r due to strengthen the forum. I have also applead for members to if their journey is over here we don't nead dead numbers. chota or sukhi parivar is good enough Best wishes Prashant ________________________________ Bhaskar <rajiventerprises Monday, July 27, 2009 11:19:30 AM Re: Membership of this group 10K+ Dear Shri Punditji and Shri RR ji, Namaste. Bhaskar. N.B. Guest guest
Bhaskar-bhai, One mistake that I caught in your email! {I am from St. Paul Higher Secondary -- myself!} But I bet you did not have the experience that I had, when I showed up for the catechism class in the afternoon after school innocently just because my best friend Subhash Daniel Singh invited me to, innocently! From such innocent moments do we arise and awaken! From that moment of personal embarassment I learned a lifetime of lessons about organized religion! :-) It is not the moderator that can ever bring back the warmth to this or any other forum! It is us that post that control the content of this or any other forum! It is only when we bring in disharmony into our renderings that the moderators and owner etc are forced to jump in! Our victory and prowess as members and contributors shows up when we continue to interact without giving the moderators and owners a chance to show up! And we all must be able to distinguish between Moderator Prashant ji and contributor Prashant ji! Those are two different roles which we shall not confuse and nor would hopefully Prashant ji! Guest guest
Bhaskar ji u must remember one thing u made repeated defamatory, personal abuses on me and Tanvir ji for the entire period of my moderatorship in other forums and I expected a " voluntary reference and due apologies to Tanvir ji " which did not happen even with a HINT I felt it will be naturally coming to be reminded is not the way it must happen. repated falshehood and no corrective steps one bit and peace for LIP service will not be right I WANT U to do the same apologies on all such forums else if u can take action on one instance of astro explored, sbm_sharma, vkholi, won't Tanvir ji take them, I can ignore ur insults on me why will others....! why should he...! another small example u said I was using a fake ID in Jyotish group after being expelled well check my posts before and after and prove it anyone from day one to now it is. I have used my ID- gbp_kumar and replied under astro.prashant kumar [profile name will be displayed as astro desk] i said this was my non functioning web site e-astrodesk.com manytimes just try these two things and breathe easy that is provide proof of our combined illegal, anti-national activities also me using fake ID in JGrp. u must see i got into trouble only using real ID, if i had to use fake why will i get expelled cud do it with fake and nice in real ID i've seen u slip a few times so too one of ur moderators ehile using a diff ID. with my low vision I know it is not worth such risks above all not my way. U HAD THE DIGJAG even in march asking for such reconcilation when we rached the 7th yr this period also did not see any let up in ur attack on both of us. I have shown enogh magnimity more than the needed or others give. I respected the overall democratic structure and worked with in till now I have given u that chance. I don't see a change. just lip service only way forward is both for forgetting all and moving afresh 1 write all over where u said LINKED us to anti-national activities it is FALES or prove it no problem or face the music 2. prove my ID in Jytoish group is changed anytime. raj invited me back in same ID AS FRIENDS U CAN ASK HIM, see the posts randonly v few r there so no issue 3. remove the impression that anyone who picks trouble with u I have a hand or my fake ID so manytimes I said ur Bhasmasura nature will alone undo u surely risking urself to anyones warth as abrahim I will never be part of a revenge nature I know karma will catch up sooner for all of us [me included] Prashant ________________________________ Bhaskar <rajiventerprises Monday, July 27, 2009 12:11:46 PM Re: Membership of this group 10K+ Dear Prashant ji, Bhai poorani baaton ko ab khatm karo. Guest guest
Dear RRjji I agree with ur post fully esp the last 2 lines // And we all must be able to distinguish between Moderator Prashant ji and contributor Prashant ji! // I wish I had read this a few min earlier, I was in a dilemma till now, I have postponed Tanvir jis order to BAN bhaskar ji a few times he has asked me even y'day. today with the few messages a bit cooler felt giving him a hint he will apologise to TANVIR ji for accusing him and me of anti-national activities he spreads in all groups with no proof and wants to be forgiven all the time. I have never banned anyone till now vk sharma has been voilating the RULES of soliciting clientile i have warned him nanytimes today will be the last next time i said will ban him if Bhaskr ji does the clean up in other forums surely can work from todays mindset that is relaxed at the monring from all the DIGJAN as he said, and restore him here, choice is his he had a smooth last day for the moment here he surely will know faster than i knew anytime, it is sad and with a heavy heart I had to do this as both the onwer and me were abused repeatedly for over 15 months now. I had taken a few strong steps last week end and hinted more to come after confering withthe Owner tanvir ji as it is not my forum we have to follow his guidlines. I hope things tourn out for the better Prashant ________________________________ Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan Monday, July 27, 2009 2:16:38 PM Re: Membership of this group 10K+ Bhaskar-bhai, One mistake that I caught in your email! Guest guest
Dear Prashant ji, Your message truly disturbs me! Please understand that Jyotish Remedies or any other forum that I participate in means nothing to me, has taught me hardly anything and your message brings back bad memories! Months and years ago when Tanvir decided to ban you, I was the first one to publicly question his decision because I felt that you were abrasive but still important for Jyotish Remedies. And others joined in and you were reinstituted by the kind grace of Tanvir who I respect and admire a lot! Today, I publicly protest again for this corporate decision for Banning Mr. Bhaskar! Just as I publicly protested when someone posted a desire to use his horoscope to make a personal point! WE SIMPLY CANNOT allow that kind of thing and yet claim ourselves to be DEMOCRATIC! Perhaps the corporate decision to ban Bhaskar was based on messages by him that were not approved and which were inflammatory and in that case obviously you and Tanvir have the prerogative to ban him and really we members do not have any say in that. But if his messages have not been abusive or otherwise inflammatory or destructive to , and how can messages from ONE person ever be that destructive to a large forum like this, I would request that MAY cooler heads prevail! Please? Thanks RR , Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar wrote: > > Dear RRjji > > > I agree with ur post fully esp the last 2 lines > > // And we all must be able to distinguish between Moderator Prashant ji and contributor Prashant ji! // > > I wish I had read this a few min earlier, I was in a dilemma till now, I have postponed Tanvir jis order to BAN bhaskar ji a few times he has asked me even y'day. today with the few messages a bit cooler felt giving him a hint he will apologise to TANVIR ji for accusing him and me of anti-national activities he spreads in all groups with no proof and wants to be forgiven all the time. > > I have never banned anyone till now > vk sharma has been voilating the RULES of soliciting clientile i have warned him nanytimes today will be the last > next time i said will ban him > > if Bhaskr ji does the clean up in other forums surely can work from todays mindset that is relaxed at the monring from all the DIGJAN as he said, and restore him here, choice is his > > he had a smooth last day for the moment here > > he surely will know faster than i knew anytime, it is sad and with a heavy heart I had to do this > as both the onwer and me were abused repeatedly for over 15 months now. > > I had taken a few strong steps last week end and hinted more to come after confering withthe Owner tanvir ji as it is not my forum we have to follow his guidlines. > > I hope things tourn out for the better > > Prashant ________________________________ > Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan > > Monday, July 27, 2009 2:16:38 PM > Re: Membership of this group 10K+ > > > Bhaskar-bhai, > > One mistake that I caught in your email! {I am from St. Paul Higher Secondary -- myself!} But I bet you did not have the experience that I had, when I showed up for the catechism class in the afternoon after school innocently just because my best friend Subhash Daniel Singh invited me to, innocently! Guest guest
Dear members & friends, old timers & new timers I was mute spectator in the rattle. I even tried to lighten things a bit through Astrology ofcourse. It is very true that I am not fully aware of all the facts that has happened before and do not know any one personaly. However, It seems this is going too far. Where are you getting time for writting such lengthy practically meaningless mails again & again. Don't you have any thing else to do worthwhile? I am surprised that even those claim to be professionals joing the band wagon. How can Jyotish work with so much agitated mind. Can yo do justice to the people who seek your advice? Though it is not a surprise to me, it seems that no one is truely interested in discusing about the Jyotish or try to get a clarification on what some one has written about jyotish. Rather much more time is spent in digging old issues. It is utterly laughable that the issue started by an outsider (?) ended in further conflict between insiders & old timers. I think who ever it is he achieved his goal - to brand every one here as fools Think about it. A.G.Suresh Babu Shenoy
Guest guest
Dear members, As said in my earlier mail that I have been a silent spectator of couple of astro groups.. and JR and Bhaskar ji group are the 2 group i regularly follow on a daily basis. And i have the pleasure of being a silent and enlightning dicussion on just not astrology but other things also. And someone who have always admire members here for their knowledge and outlook towards life in general, and also have the priviledge to meet few in person. I would request that please not let these small and petty issues harm the larger purpose of these websites. I have known Bhaskar ji for a year now and have met him also for my personal guidance. And trust me when i say that he is a nice person.. very helpfull.. and yes he has his own eccentric nature but then what i like about him is his forthright nature.. and please dont think i m justifying anyone's wrong behaviour. well but then right and wrong is again a matter of perspective.. I think I m digressing from the topic.. All i want to say is that as average and silent member, who come to these groups to hear and listen to learned members like you.. it hurts me when i saw dirty lining washed on a public forum like this.. adn trust me that out of this 10k members.. 99% are like me.. silent spectators.. who look upto learned members like you.. so for our sake.. please... in the end i just want to request that please dont ban anyone.. i have read and follow bhaskar ji in his forum also.. and i have seen goign berserk and mad .. bt then in followup i have alos seen publicly apologising in his own forum to that person.. Uppps i m still in office and written too much.. better go back to work now .. Dont know wht more to say..all of you are learned and respected people with many years of experience.. trust that you will do what is right.. thanks & regardsrajesh --- On Mon, 7/27/09, Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan Re: Membership of this group 10K+ Monday, July 27, 2009, 3:13 PM Dear Prashant ji, Your message truly disturbs me! Guest guest
Dear rajesh, i appreciate the sentiments shared by u, given a choice we must not go this far, but not taking action on a few baseless charges for so ling even after giving a hint had to find its place. a simple question can u fwd a few cases of such intervention when such posts came there in his group from UR END like when he abused me duing most of june at least I am sure as u said u r a silent and nuteral member will like to see ur views on me, tanvir ji as well pl don;t worry i am sure he will do the needful and will be back soon after. prashant ________________________________ Dreams Unlimiteds <dreams_unlimiteds Monday, July 27, 2009 4:17:46 PM Re: Membership of this group 10K+ Dear members, As said in my earlier mail that I have been a silent spectator of couple of astro groups.. and JR and Bhaskar ji group are the 2 group i regularly follow on a daily basis. And trust me when i say that he is a nice person.. very helpfull.. and yes he has his own eccentric nature but then what i like about him is his forthright nature.. and please dont think i m justifying anyone's wrong behaviour. well but then right and wrong is again a matter of perspective. .. Dont know wht more to say..all of you are learned and respected people with many years of experience.. trust that you will do what is right.. thanks & regardsrajesh --- On Mon, 7/27/09, Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan@ hotmail.com> wrote: Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan@ hotmail.com> Re: Membership of this group 10K+ Monday, July 27, 2009, 3:13 PM Dear Prashant ji, Your message truly disturbs me!
