Guest guest
" Perhaps I was too hasty! Perhaps our people were not quite ready to shoulder democracy or its responsibilities... " , as the Mahatma lamentec! Wonderful burden --democracy! Hardly a FREEDOM -- mostly a responsibility! And that quote that I once read, " MY limits to stretch my fist ENDS where your nose begins...! " Democracy would indeed be lovely once we ALL grow up! All it takes is ONE infant in the boardroom or a high level adult meeting to disrupt the agenda! Two or three are even worse! No wonder why we adults are so vulnerable because we care for the brats too much!! RR
Guest guest
Indeed Democracy by choice is only for those who love to shoulder their responsibility for all their action and never point their finguers at others. Brats " who are They " and " why they should brat'>our adage goes " a good person needs a word(to be told once) and a good animals needs only a good reprimand.Brats otherwise have no room .they need save their vocal chords. Satutn a teachers tries to win with sublime approach and keeps low.might be perceieved as guile.but that is how Democarcy gets recognition.Jupiter need to support as wisdom comes to play and gives no room for brats to open up.with these two coming to help automatically joins and finds worth in democracy.is it not? vrkrishnan --- On Sun, 7/26/09, Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan wrote: Rohiniranjan <rohini_ranjan Democracy Sunday, July 26, 2009, 3:32 AM " Perhaps I was too hasty! Guest guest
Democracy does not come to fruition in a 'toddler' day-care centre, Sir! There, only discipline (reprimands, banning, warnings) are effective. Love and affection only works on those who were good children already! It promotes and reinforces good behaviour but rarely corrects delinquencies! Do aankhay barah haath or the dirty dozen were just romantic movies! Maturity requires more than just Jupiter or saturn or sun or mars or moon or mercury or venus or rahu or ketu etc. It needs ALL of them to be reasonably strong but more importantly BALANCED! Astrologers often get excited when they see isolated points that may have spiked on the astrological chromatogram but what really steers the ship of human experience on even keel is all nine engines working in harmony and balance, if not in synchrony!
