By the way what you say means Jupiter is in maran karaka sthan than by itself and you need to worship pratyadhidevata of Jupitor. Guru chandal yoga if present works at subtle level giving you evil thoughts leading to bad karma if care is not taken. Gem stone are remedies that work at different layer and much depends upon planetary disposition in whole chart of a native. There could be serious flaws that may call for remedy rather than a yoga heard of! Do not get worried by incomplete saying. with best wishes.
