Guest guest
Dear Members, I am sure all of us aware broadly that the Guru-Shishya parampara is a socialistic, and holistic one in the sense one develops a family like atmosphere with the Guru, his family, eat, sleep do the chores in the guru's places as he/she does at their place. till they reach a stage where the Guru has completed the expected level of his shishya where he allows he into the free world and get goong else directs him to higher level of Gurus to go on further in search of greater knowledge but the system works sameway. in the net world it is mere session by session relationship and max course/s long can continue to last a few weeks, max a yr once past the post and their own self study, sharing with others they feel they r ahead of their so called gurus... the lack of mutual respect [this covers all spheres of life today, between parents, children, siblings, teacher, taught, employer, employee] and when it is money that binds the relationship to a time table max one must not be expecting a revered relationship and most of the faith centric subjects need a satvic approach from both the Guru, shishya, lead simple lifes and pursue knowledge sincerely than be looking at capturing market share. in this context i feel net can be used as familarisation platform and interested srudents sek real time, guru-shishya relationship having travelled in this road know its true value. and one without it miss a lot more. I owe my existance in Jyotish sphere to my Gurus in K Subbanna at 87 STILL ACTIVE IN THIS FILED TO LIVE has to earn, MY OYTHER GURUS K ASHWATAPPA, has passed away 3 yrs ago ofcourse all of u s have read books of dyons like B V RAMAN, PS SHASTRY, V Subramanya shastry, M R amakrishna bjatt KP etc. which also teach us something thru Guru vakya. net is a wafer thin world as far as learning and reverence to the Gurus goes. this poll a interesting one will throw some new light i hope on this Best wishes ________________________________ " " Saturday, August 15, 2009 9:52:45 AM New poll for Enter your vote today! Guest guest
Dear Prashant Ji, On line inventions are very and educative. However in our own technology oriented premier institutions,on line studies are ecnouraged only to save costs as it is most difficult to get high academicians and is also fact for jyotish. In the field of spirtuality as well as jyotish hard copies are always essential and having a Guru is most essential.Infact it is my own practical experience as I always rlied on Late Shri B.v.Raman'S Books and write and grew with the development of jyotish till middle of 90s and it is only in the millenium i could feel how it is important to have a Guru and learn in a Gurukul like atmosphere. That is why even today we find our Paramacharyas and other saints including Mata Amritanadmayee having a big followers and set up in abroad. This gusru sishya paramapara and cultre can not be replaced for evr as the values imbibed in such relationships. The growth of humanbeings has recognition in terms of values acquisition but not loosing them as it reflects in culture. In on line we can not learn but we get acquainted. That's all Vattem Krishnan Cyber Jyotish Services (For all counseling services) --- On Sat, 8/15/09, Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar wrote: Prashant Kumar G B <gbp_kumar Re: New poll for Saturday, August 15, 2009, 1:47 AM Dear Members, I am sure all of us aware broadly that the Guru-Shishya parampara is a socialistic, and holistic one in the sense one develops a family like atmosphere with the Guru, his family, eat, sleep do the chores in the guru's places as he/she does at their place. till they reach a stage where the Guru has completed the expected level of his shishya where he allows he into the free world and get goong else directs him to higher level of Gurus to go on further in search of greater knowledge but the system works sameway. in the net world it is mere session by session relationship and max course/s long can continue to last a few weeks, max a yr once past the post and their own self study, sharing with others they feel they r ahead of their so called gurus... the lack of mutual respect [this covers all spheres of life today, between parents, children, siblings, teacher, taught, employer, employee] and when it is money that binds the relationship to a time table max one must not be expecting a revered relationship and most of the faith centric subjects need a satvic approach from both the Guru, shishya, lead simple lifes and pursue knowledge sincerely than be looking at capturing market share. in this context i feel net can be used as familarisation platform and interested srudents sek real time, guru-shishya relationship having travelled in this road know its true value. and one without it miss a lot more.
