Guest guest
october 29 1922 chicago illinois time 6:30 am I have been taking care of mother since 2001 and completely for 4.5 years now and i have given up my career to do so. She had esophageal cancer in 2000 and is the longest living survivor of removing the esophagus and rebuilding one with the stomach tissue. Pipes were placed down her throat every month for a year to stretch the tissue. now she is in very early stages of possible alzheimers called mild cognitive impairment.(that was the exact diagnosis) short term memory loss .She is in her own home and i go to take care of her she doesnt respond well to aids or centers for activities and cogition. she was a great beauty, a model and married wealth but he ran away. she does not have much money left and i have none as i have been taking care of her. my concern is will she be at home or will i have to at some point move her to a nursing home ?she is still managing her accounts and is very independent. I am very very tired kindly thankyou
