on seeing your horo it is clear that your are under

7 (1/2)years sadesati of saturn and it is normal in this period

you feel very depressed, and world around you will move away

Hello Vivek,

I am a new student of Jyotish and am currently studying and

reading everything that I can get my hands on, but I did want to

answer as I have been in this situation more than one time before.

Please know that although you feel as though there is no hope now,

you will have happy times again. There is hope! I know that you may

not feel as though there is much to hope for right now, but please

know that things can and will get better. You must refrain from

thinking about troubles and negative thoughts. This is very

important. When you have a sad or negative thought, you must stop it

and replace it with one that is positive. Also, it is good to make

sure that you only listen to happy and uplifting music, read positive

books, watch happy movies. Your western chart shows that your are

someone who is very, very influenced by their associates-so make sure

that you try to spend time with people who are positive and uplifting

rather than those who will drag you down. You are also very likely to

want to help everyone that you come in contact with, but you should

try to stop first and decide if this person truly needs your help.

Help only those that truly need you. You may tend to view others

from " rose colored glasses " so they may hurt your feelings at times.

Protect yourself. Keep in mind that you are someone that puts out a

lot of energy in your contacts with others, in other words, you make

a strong impression. Due to this, you may at times come on a bit too

strong and if you disagree with someone, they will feel this keenly.

You must strive to avoid disagreements with others and also useless

forward in your spiritual practice. I decided after going through

several periods like the one you are dealing with that I am fine.

Even if my possessions are gone, my friends are gone, my home is

gone, hmmm how to explain-those are circumstances. I can feel

horrible about them and be horrible, or I can know that I am fine in

this moment as I sit here and then I truly am fine. Those things

(THINGS) come and go. They are meant to. To wax and wane. I have

actually gotten rid of most of the things that I own. I know that I

have unhappiness many times in a relationships, so now I do not seek

them out. Things come and things go and I can be miserable about them

or not. I can stand back from the situation and see that I don't have

to get lost in the misery. It is a skill that I had to learn. If you

are very sensitive, it may be hard not to get lost in emotion, but

you can do it. I was so sensitive that I would find that when a

friend had a problem, I would actually feel it and many times I was

suffering more than the friend. This type of thing is not good. We

need empathy and sympathy without allowing ourselves to get damaged.

I think that you are likely very, very smart and a good communicater.

Your mind is good, but you have to get emotions out of the way at

times allow the good mind to help you through life.

I am sorry for making comment when I can't tell you about your

jyotish chart, but your letter tugged at my heart strings and I

remember well how hard it can be to put one foot in front of the

other at times like this. Just hang on to hope that it will get

better. Truly it will. Good luck. I will be praying for you.

Dear Vinay,

I humbly offer the following comments:

Professional indicators

Mars - Engineer, Military, Surgeon, construction (also since this is Ares

rising it indicates leadership)

Jupiter - publishing, teaching, management

Saturn, - Engineering, research

Moon, administration, public facing activity, public relations

Ketu, chemist, healer, research

Since sub periods from 16 years old show Rahu, Jupiter, Saturn education may

have been technical and managerial and then when you began working you were

in Mercury sub period which took you in direction of business side of

technical areas. Your comments seem to confirm this.

Mars is strongest professional indicator with aspects into 8th, 11th, and

12th. This gives the ability to be successful in foreign places as a leader

and working in your own enterprise.

Two planets, Sun and Mercury, in 3rd are indicators that running your own
