Guest guest
Respected Seniors,Good Morning,I have put Big foto of Kali Mata, portrait of my late Guru, father and late grand father in my temple. Some says that foto of Kali Mata, portrait of late father and late grand father should not be put in the temple..I am not adept in rituals & Karmkand. Is it forbidden by our Hidu rituals, religion and karmkand in any manner? while worshiping I use to recite daily '' Matri pitri charan kamlebhyo Namah:'' So I think it is not improper to put the portraits of my late father and grand father in my temple where I worship daily.I have sent this message yesterday but it is not published. Please guide me in this regard. Guest guest
Dear Shri Dhirendra Nath Ji, Shri Kali Mata represents Goddess of all Kshudra Sakties. The avatar meant for decimating eveil forces and make the universe free fom evil forces. And her avatar itself is different all other Goodesses .normally her worship is made by taking upasana and is done by taking tantric upadesa for performing pooja. Your Keeping Photo of Kali Mata in your Pooja Room may not be needing so much attention as her moorthy is with other idols which you normally worship every day. certainly keeping photos of your elders who are no more alive is not appropriate in pooja room. They can by put in photofrmaes in your lobby/living room. on north wets side if you have a verandah you cal so keep Mata Photo at 9-10 feet height on a wall hanging manner. Pooja to Kalimata has to be ritualistic.
