respected all,

according to me 8th from 7th or 8th from venus shows the spouse's next marriage

(if any) and their hidden dealings, including taxes & secret

investments..please correct me if you think,i am wrong....i would like to

ask " 1-what if malefics like mars,saturn or rahu are placed here?

2-do we give major importance to 8th house from 7th and 8th house from

venus?your assistance will help us to learn more....

General principle is 7th is maraka and 8th is life.8th from 7th is 2nd from

lagna again a maraka.

2nd 2 7th is mangalya for women and also their status.Any house 8th in order is

a dusthana,though known as secret house and indicates longevity.So from venus

and malefic planet does not abode good.

Dear Madam,

 

It is a basic dictom that malefics in the kendra & 8 of any bhava shall be

detrimental to that bhava.

 

If you really want to learn astrology, go back to basics, use Indian terminology

instead roman numbers. This will help you grasp the subject much faster and with

clarity.

 

To analyse any bhava, check

Rasi (Kshetra)

Rasi Lord

Planets associated with rasi lord

Other Bhava lords associated with Rasi Lord

Planets occupying that Rasi

Planets aspecting that Rasi

Planets associated with that Rasi (Having Navamsa there)

Other Bhava lords associated with that Rasi (Having Navamsa there)

The association of Rasi lord with different Varga & its lord

 

All the above should be considered from

Lagna

Moon

Karaka

Bhava

 

The first three are most important.

 

Now 7th house is called Kalatra sthana. It is common for males as well as

females.

However for females 8th is also Mangalya Sthana. I hope you understand the

implication of the word " Mangalya "

 

Venus is the Karaka for the Kalatra Sthana - Kalatra Karaka for both males &

females.

 

However as sookshma karaka in ceratain matters Mars could also be considered for

females. But this should be used judicialy.

 

Melefics in the 4th & 8th - Sukha sthana and Arishta sthana is called chaturasra

papa dosha. This is not good in both the charts, particularly that of a female.

 

8th house from Kalatra sthana is Kutumbha Sthana also from Lagna.

 

So a malefic in the Kutumbha Sthana from lagna shall destroy family because it

is aspecting the aristha Sthana from Lagna which is Mangalya sthana for females.

 

So in case males if the 7th house & it lord is strongly placed, Malefic in

the kutumbha (dhana / vaak as well) may destroy his wealth, family (kutumbha

chidra), way he speak shall reflect the qualities of that planet, due to aspect

to the Arishta -8th, life span may get reduced or may have accidents or ailments

depending on the strength of the aspecting planet & 8th lord. If his lagna is

strong, it will effect his wife.

 

In case females, all the above plus it may harm her husband because 8th is 2nd

(maraka sthana) for the kalatra.

Dear Namrata Jee,

 

 

There is a suble difference !

 

Strong Saturn in 8th from venus is a boon

 

for giving strong and long lasting married life.

 

Whereas other malefics are unwelcome there.
