Guest guest
Respected Learned Memmbers, Kindly enlighten me on the following areas. 1) Is Navamsa used to ascertain " ONLY " the strength of the planet or we can still use this NAVAMSA CHART as " RASI " and find the fruits of all 12 places ? 2) If Jupiter is some place and Saturn is in Seventh Place from jupiter...whose aspects are dominant. I mean, Jupiter gets spoilt by Saturn dhrishty or Saturn's Influence (BAD)is reduced by aspects of Jupiter. 3)Some books say that Rahu and Ketu gives the fruit of Lord of places. Ex. If Rahu placed in Mesha, It gives the fruit of Mars. Is it true ? 4) I have an astrology book which says that Rahu and Ketu aspects 3,7,11. Is it true ? Lot of confustion on Rahu and Ketu aspects ? 5) Rahu and Ketu aspects are considered from anticlock wise. When u ascertain " Kala Sarpa Dosha " all planets should be confined left corner between Rahu and Ketu or right side? Hope u get my questions. Kindly enlighten me ! Thanking you all in advance. wamrm regards and Happy Diwali! S.Govind Rajan
Guest guest
/*hraum krishnaya namah*/ Dear S Govind, 1) Is Navamsa used to ascertain " ONLY " the strength of the planet or we can still use this NAVAMSA CHART as " RASI " and find the fruits of all 12 places ? * There are different views. Sanjay Rath, K.N Rao and BV Raman treat the Navamsa as Chakra (like Rasi). Its also for other Vargas. So there is Lagna and houses (bhavas) for Varga charts, not only strength * For strength Drekkana is also included. 2) If Jupiter is some place and Saturn is in Seventh Place from jupiter...whose aspects are dominant. I mean, Jupiter gets spoilt by Saturn dhrishty or Saturn's Influence (BAD)is reduced by aspects of Jupiter. * See if one of them is vakri - this drsti will be strongest. Jupiter aspect shows that area lorded by aspected bhava can be remedied/help is there. Shani aspect shows kantaka, obstacles and daridra, so both actions will take place. 3)Some books say that Rahu and Ketu gives the fruit of Lord of places. Ex. If Rahu placed in Mesha, It gives the fruit of Mars. Is it true ? * Yes if unaspected and unconjoined. 4) I have an astrology book which says that Rahu and Ketu aspects 3,7,11. Is it true ? Lot of confustion on Rahu and Ketu aspects ? * Wrong. Rahu aspects 2,5,7,9 house from itself. Ketu doesnt have the graha drsti. 5) Rahu and Ketu aspects are considered from anticlock wise. When u ascertain " Kala Sarpa Dosha " all planets should be confined left corner between Rahu and Ketu or right side? Hope u get my questions. * going clockwise if rahu is on the front and all planets are between rahu and ketu its kalasarpa, however if ketu is stronger due to yuti its kalamrta. Guest guest
|Om Namo Bhagwate Ramchandraya| Dear Members, There is an excellent lecture on the usage of the Navamsha by Zoran at one of the Conferences. One would strongly recommend getting that for some further information on the usage of the Navamsha. Techniques such as Rashi Tulya Navamsha and Navamsha Tulya Rashi are explained. One can venture into the Navamsha placement of a Graha and correlate it with the Rashi placement. Then allied concepts of Amshesh etc. It is all very valuable indeed.
