Respected Guruji,

 

Today only i joined to this group, i am happy to join this group

 

i am studying for IAS Exam. but i am presently working in software

 

My lagna is sagittarius(dhansu)

 

D.O.B:24-09-1983

Time :13.54

place :salem(TamilNadu)

 

 

sun placed in 10th house and mercury placed in 9th with retrograde joined with

venus and mars

 

sun dasa will going start at may 2010

 

I have been read in many astrology books that is Sun in 10th place make a native

to become a IAS Officer ?

 

Is it so?

 

Shall i change my carrer ?

 

otherwise which raja yogas made native to achive this IAS position.

 

please advise me regarding this, if i was wrong

Dear Birla,

 

Sun in 10th (Agjna) confers authoritive post or character. The parivathana of

Mercury & sun can provide govt or semi-govt related positions.

 

However, there could be many difficulties or contraints you may have to face

considering the dasa progress. But there is underlying element of success also.

 

So prepare very hard and don't take easily assuming that since you have sun in

the 10th, you shall get through very easily.

Your lord of 10th House (profession, career) Mercury is well placed and strong

in 9th house.  Lord of 9th house (general fortune) Sun is well placed and strong

in 10th house.  Also lord of 3rd house (leadership, communication skills,

enterprise) Saturn is exalted and well placed in 11th house.   These are good

combinations for IAS, HIGH Administrative, management posts.  Please try

whatever is of your interest with full fervour.  Midlle of next year onwards

better prospects are indicated.
