Imranji,

Since his BT is ambiguous. I use chandra lagna for Wasim Akram. He has mercury

in taurus in 7th, a combination that threatens life of spouse. It is further

placed with mars and along the axis of the nodes. 7th lord venus (running dasha)

placed in the 6th. Venus itself is under papakartari. All these indicate

considerable afflictions.

His lagna, I think might very well be Taurus instead of Gemini because he was

born in Saturn dasha. Saturn placed in 11th house (ruling left hand). If I

remember right, he is a left handed batsman.

Thank you for the chart details.

Regards,

bhagavathi

Dear Madam,

Though I haven't checked his chart very well for the same reasons as yours, As

you mentioned, chandra lagna itself indicates the misfortunes he faced sadly.

However, I was amused at you reference of wasim being left handed due to saturn

in the 11nth. I have saturn in the 11nth and during my college days, I was a

good ckriket player and you know what, I used to bat both left & right to

confuse the bowlers and was very good at it. But for all other matters, I am a

right handed person.

Your reference brought some memmories back.

Thank you & regards

A.G.Suresh Babu Shenoy.

Dear Shenoyji,

I agree with you. Saturn in 11th (which I also have) need not give a left handed

person. I am right handed too. I meant to say his dasha at birth was saturn,

placed in 11th. I do not have any references to support my statement. From

practical observations, the dasha at birth checked from lagna or chandra lagna

will be connected to the third house. The third house is important for

development and growth. If it is third house, then the child will start using

right hand, if it is 11th house, left hand.

In fact from birth to death, every event is related to the dasha running. If the

second house effects are not felt early, the child will not speak etc

Dear Friends.

WHEN Great Arjun was called ambivalent .it is that he can use both hands with

same ease considered to be very rare.

2.WHERE as left orientation ariisng out of 11th house for left haand and right

habd for saturn from 3rd house, invisible half of chakra alone has no

justification.Right or left hand arises from the invisible half of chakra

only. The rest of the growth comes from 7th to 12th house from time to time.

3.Where as commence ment of dasa as janana kala vinshottari maha dasa has to

come from as continiuty from previous janma and is to be ascertianed from 5th

known as Poorva and 9th(as 5th to 5th) houses.

Dear Madam,

Namasthe,

I am not refuting you entirely, as there could be logic in what you written.

What you have linked is the starting dasa & 11nth house (left hands & shoulders)

could have given made him left handed.

Which means

If the starting dasa was not that of a planet in the 11nth house, this trait may

not be present.

There is a little more to this logic. We cannot establish lagna from this factor

alone on one hand, but on the other,

if we look from the chandra lagna, the 3rd house lord, the general ruller of

hands & shoulders is aspecting the 11nth of moon, which again might have made

this a surerity.

Note: in my case, the starting dasa was that of jupiter (in the 11nth), so this

logic does qualify. so there are two planets and jupiter was in 1st navamsa

fairly weak as far as bhava is concerned. May be that is why while could play

both sides, I remained right handed.

In wasim's case it is full drishti of 7th and is the only planet involved.

Practical experience if clearly backed with fundamental logic should be

respected.

From practical observations, the dasha at birth checked from lagna or chandra

lagna will be connected to the third house. The third house is important for

development and growth. If it is third house, then the child will start using

right hand, if it is 11th house, left hand.

Dear Bhagavati,

Yes, Wasim Akram may have Taurus or Gemini lagna, since time of birth is based

on parents' memory. Few years back, I too considered him as Taurus native. If he

is Gem lagna, then UL (upapada) falls in Aries with Venus and AL, if he is Tau

lagna, then UL falls in Pisces with Saturn and AL. Yet, this may be misleading

by just assuming a few factors. Proper rectification is indispensable here.

Which I could not carry out unfortunately, besides tallying his past life events

with dasa and gochar. Well, his chart is not as simple as I thought.

Despite, karakattwa principles of Nadi Astrology may help to figure out the

demise of spouse. Taking Venus as lagna and analyzing dwadasa and trikona bhavas

etc.

Alternately, considering Chandra lagna is indeed a handy way (as you

pin-pointed). And there is no doubt that in patnikaraka Venus in 6th from natal

Moon (especially when it is forming a parivartana with 7th), coupled with

assemblage of three malefic in 7th mar the longevity of spouse.

Lastly, it is difficult to infer a native laft-handed by just considering Saturn

in 11th.

Sincerely,

M. Imran
