I was told earlier by an astrologer that my sun is weak and to increase its strength , i need to wear 5 1/4 ratti ruby. As far as issue of recognion is concerned,it is due to perspiration and hard work on two ends represented through sun and saturn respectively.Propitation to sun helps in your image build up and removes ambiguity in your relationships with peers.Ruby that way is good. Prashna chart cast also indicates propitations or remdies to nodes mainly ketu will also be helpful. The mantra is : Om Ghrini Suryaaditya, you can also consider doing a general sraddha, ask the priest for more details. If the sraddha yoga is from Lagna to seventh house then the demise from the mother side of family can bring problems from the pitris or departed souls. Doing a sraddha removes the problem. As this is in dhana bhava forming kemadruma yoga this can have bad impact on your finances so by doing this Surya mantra or performing sraddha you are correcting this dosha in your chart and improving your finances and career life. Infact this financial or family problems will inspire you for change the whole life, you will all the time trigerred by those two planets ie. Rahu and Shani to change something. This is due to fact that this yoga is Bodhak for your Lagnesh. And in age 30-39 you will try hard to remove any financial problems in your life - this is auspicious time when many jobs can be offered to you and you can gain a lot of authority due to your blessings from Agni! Good point about Shani in second is that it can add to longevity. 2. Because Jupiter is Vakri. 3. Recognition is Moon, whilst promtion is Sun. For the Shani+Rahu Conjunction in second house .....I had approached a pandit and they are getting a pooja /yagya organised on Somavati Amavasya (16th Nov) . They Would be doing my Japas for Shani ,Rahu and Ketu till then and will complete the things with a Havan on 16th Nov. For removing the Pitru Dosha , they have said that i need to give food to Brahmans .Plus i need to give Jal +ganga jal + milk + til + gud + grass + honey + Jawn(barley) to the Peepal tree for 11 days. This is the kind of yajna which can nullify the yoga in 2nd house. Or if someone from the mother's family passed away then sraddha of this person should be done. Normal graha-mantras for these planets or feeding Brahmins will not address this yoga to be honest.
