BSE Forecast for 12 Nov : Significant Downswing. & 13 Nov

Actual performance was -0.92%, which is termed " significant " in my scaling.

Changes of ~2% to ~3% may be termed " tremendous up/down swing " , while smaller

changes are termed in milder terms.

 

The forecast for 12th Nov was actually for the period following 10:55 AM.

 

For the period after 10:41 AM on 13th Nov 2009, the forecast is :

 

Slight upswing (almost negligible) in over 80% of Indian companies due to

improved Venus in D9, D1 having no change. Mars in D9 deteriorates, causing a

slight downswing in south Indian companies.

 

This forecast is for 10:41 AM versus closing time.

 

Analysis File will use two large screenshots : these pictures need top be

interpreted according to standard rules of Vedic Jyotisha, esp BPHS (Brihat

Parashara Hora Shaastra). I will send these files either in files section here

or at my website if members want to look at them. My past experience deters me

u have seen enuf interest of ur stock mkt frecasts so u can be assured of some

ppl seeing the files if u upload unlike on other occassions as here even common

ppl r seeing it not astrologers I hope u can be more specific in a few cases

from here and expand ur work in case u need some team support pl let us know we

shally rty to chip in

I use B V Raman's Ayanamsa only so Dasa, Vargas, Dates will differ from non

Raman's. Pl provide important dates in ur life while posting to verify ur birth

data and to help Lagna verification provide a picture in the Pictures folder in

To Prashant ji and All,

 

Prashant Ji is right. I certainly need teamwork in stock-forecasting,

because the number of charts per day is too much for an individual to

analyze. Another problem is SCALING, ie quantification of astrological

effects : it is hard to quatify the forecast in terms such as 2.4%

upswing in BSE index. Quantification will take time with growth in our

cumulative experience. But analysis of all needed files for one day's

forecast needs the cooperation of many vedic astrologers, all relying on

well known predictive methodology of Sage Parashara. The zip file will

be ~1 MB. If such a team emerges in any , it will be of great

help to the cause of Vedic Astrology.

 

But I do not like non-astrological discussions over historical or other

topics : let us be confined to pure astrology alone.

Dear Vinay ji

 

I am sure u will find good support in this grp as u have seen from the time u r

here

 

only 1 major Request will be as u said ur close to many sanskrit scholars,

parishads pl translate the BPHS vishvakhamb u r using to English and put in a

pdf file only with same material we can also understand u, ur work better else

this one alone can stand as no one can or need to worry on results it is visible

daily even to common ppl so we can surely appreciate good work as said we r

willing to be part of any study

 

if material is same to work it is best suited for good results of the team

itself we canexpand to other domains also

ploitics, weather, marital life rainfall/drought terrorism, etc

BPHS I use has 99 chapters (it had 100, one is lost) and it has been

translated into Hindi and published by Chowkhamba. The translator Pt

Devchandra Jha claims that even the Sanskrit text is his copyright

because he worked hard to unearth various manuscripts. It is a wrong

claim, because BPHS is an ancient work. Moreover, it is easy to falsify

this claim by including more manuscripts in future translations, and I

can do that. But digitizing and translating 99 Sanskrit chapters into

English is a time-consuming job. I am trying to accomplish this task.

Dear Sirs,

Shri R.Santhanam has transalated BPHs into English and was publishes by Ranjan

Publications Delhi.

This has 97 chapters published in two volumes in the year 1984 in paper back

edition.Over Hindi transalation of shri Devndraa Jha(Chaukambha edition),The

version of Shti Sitaram Jha(Master Khelari Lal,Varansai ) was considered more

credible some authors.

G.C. Sharma (Sagar) edition has 99 main chapters and an Epilogue Chapter (100).

There is at least one online version that has been claimed to be very authentic

but has botched up in a few critical places (wrong recommendations for certain

dasas, for instance) that is sure to throw people in a tail-spin ;-)

I believe there are several such versions floating around on Internet and not

just for BPHS but all kinds of jyotish texts, new and old. I usually avoid

taking the online versions as serious or worthwhile references. Most often these

do not even identify who the translator or editor is and some may simply be

OCR-scanned 'jobs'!

 

Best to rely on hard-copy versions!

Sir,

The interest on BHPS for a jyotish novice will be onf anxiety to seek

awareness.More so in the case of " Maharshi Parasara's Brihat Parasara Hora

Sastra Known as " The Gospel Book of Hindu Astrology With Master key to

Divination "

These suffixesand prefixes attached/tagged to BPHS makes to get hold of some

version for understanding the endles and ocean like gyan of jyotish.Hence

curiosity please.

I believe there are several such versions floating around on Internet and not

just for BPHS but all kinds of jyotish texts, new and old. I usually avoid

taking the online versions as serious or worthwhile references. Most often these

do not even identify who the translator or editor is and some may simply be

OCR-scanned 'jobs'!

 

Best to rely on hard-copy versions!

Nice to see u back. I've seen GC sharma's work is it there on the net anywhere m

fairly voluminous one inspite of being split in 2 vol..

 

normally ranjam sagar are adapt in doing that like they did B Suryanarayana

Rao's Brihat jataka, [minus the sanskrit slokas] as they r contemporary of this

last 5 0yrs at least they do quote experiences in this of of 70 yrs prior to

this period including some self praise, titles BSR had on himself as a pioneer

he must have felt the need to push it that way, he was a good translator and

explained both the literal aspect and possible contextual impression he gathered

from it

G.C. Sharma (Sagar) edition has 99 main chapters and an Epilogue Chapter (100).

Chowkhambha has 98 Chapters. I have not thoroughly compared the two editions but

they seem pretty close in essential senses.

 

Sharma's edition will serve the english-speaking while Pt. DC Jha's edition will

be of use to Hindi speaking readers. Those with knowledge of Sanskrit would like

to read both (for picking out any differences) .

 

There is at least one online version that has been claimed to be very authentic

but has botched up in a few critical places (wrong recommendations for certain

dasas, for instance) that is sure to throw people in a tail-spin ;-)

Thanks for the 'welcome', but ...

 

When -- OR my question put differently -- did I ever leave ... :-) ?

 

 

 

By the way, just to set the record straight and to avoid any misconceptions

arising out of casual statements etc. -- Santhanam's BPHS was also presented in

2 volumes but had fewer chapters than Sharma's, so analytically speaking one

must call Santhanam more voluminous than Sharma (Santhanam had fewer chapters

but still two volumes!). The more analytical may begin counting pages and figure

out if Santhanam used more leaves and ink (I am sure the eco-responsible amongst

us do not need elaboration!) or Sharma did!

 

In contrast, the 98 chapters in Jha_jee's occupy only ONE VOLUME and that too

only 672 pages! Sanskrit portion assumed to be constant, obviously one may

conclude that a lot can be stated in Hindi in fewer words than in English! In

all fairness though the same sanskrit material presented by GC Sharma in his

beautiful though longer presentation of BPHS in 651+797 = 1448 had a lot of

additional commentries and charts and diagrams etc than Mr. Jha provided or

perhaps was all that he planned to share!

 

Please understand that I have always had great admiration for Mr. Santhanam and

his journal and books that he brought forth in those early days and had personal

communications with him. It was sad to hear about his premature demise back in

those days! Had he been allowed to live by God's Grace, I am sure, Jyotish as we

know it today would have been different -- at least in terms of Books and

Journals etc.
