The same started in November 2004, before which except few smaller periods you should be quite fine health wise. Next change of dasa occurs from end of 2011 which brings spirituality in a big way. Till then my advise would be recitation of mantra: Hraum Namah Aditya and mrtyunjaya beeja (haum joom sah). This will protect you till Venus will start.
