Guest guest
Dear Narayan and other members, 1. My understanding is that D-4 is to be used for residence, and moveable/immovable property. Could you please explain how we can see foreign travel from D-4. Are you considering a malefic in D-4 ascendent will force the native to go away from home. 2. What should we see for the lenght of the journey. Should the end of pratyanter dasa indicates back to home or is there any other factor to be seen. 3. I think D-4 can guide us further if the native jourey is temporary or permanant (settlement abroad). Which combination will bring the native back near his birth place. The native performed many short journeys (1 month to a year while in Rahu dasha). And a longer journey over three years while in Jupiter dasa. 4. How do you decide weather the native will die near his/her birth place or overseas. Regards, ~ Drifter " Narayan Iyer " <narayaniyer varahamihira varahamihira [Hare Rama Krishna] Re: Assignment Wed, 25 Jul 2001 19:05:03 -0000 Om Gurave Namaha ---------------- Dear Drifter-Astrologer, Actually Rahu-Venus explains it beautifuly. Lets say we want to restrict ourselves to D-1. Then, Rahu is in 12H and Venus is the sookshma lord of Paradesa Saham(Sensitive Point for Overseas Travel). D-4 is the real chart to be looked at. Here Rahu is is in the 9H(Long Distance Travel) in the watery sign of Cn. Venus, though in the 10H is the Lord of 7H(Foriegn Journey) and 12H(Away from Home). Thus Rahu-Venus is excellent for going abroad. Regards Narayan PS: Please sign you name. varahamihira, " Drifter - Astrologer " <astrology_ag@h...> wrote: > <br><br><br><br><br><br>Dear Sanjay, > > This native has a benefic in fourth house, VENUS. Guest guest
hello Niraj ji, After going through your chart I found that the chances of foreign travel in this chart are weak. Though there would be frequent travels towards south, south west direction of birth place in the native country itself. But I wrote weak not zero above, so there are possibilities that after june 2007 you may travel abroad but not for a long duration, the purpose of travel will be business of electronics, machinery, iron items, furniture, decorative items. >>>1. wear an emerald 4.25 ratti set in gold ring in right hand small finger on Wednesday. >>>2. give besan ki roti with sarson oil to a black dog on every Saturday. Now second chart -> In this chart the chances of going abroad in near future are same as yours, the native travels frequently within India, but but… I calculated that , if anyhow this native gets to any foreign country by july 2006, then settlement over there might be possible. But I strongly suggest to you, that following advice should be followed by the native— >>>1. wearing a ruby 4.25 ratti set in gold ring in right hand ring finger on Sunday is utmost necessary to ward off any health problems and increase determination and inner strength. Guest guest
Mr Satish Could you please let me know when did this person i mean which year did he travel abroad in current mercury dasha or before that. As said in KP we examine 3,9 and 12th house their lords sublords been interconnected to these houses or dasha or that particular house. Here as u said travel and residence has taken place as 8th bhava lord planet in operation , may be because lord of 8th is in 9th with moon and rahu aspecting 9th house. Studying Krishammurthy cusp house in this native's horoscope the subs of 8th is Me placed in 9th. And Mercury is in Nakshatra of Moon which is itself placed in 9th . Guest guest
Dear Purohitji Please understand one important point that 8th bhava is also a good bhava as it is 2nd bhava for 7th bhava(employer/life partner/business partner),so 8th bhava is generally having a nature of doing unexpected results related to the topic.Sudden gains, unexpected shocking news,earthquake,etc..... It also says about foriegn territory, short gains(may be lumpsum...not steady or constant in future).Dowry, incentives,Provident Funds,etc......So,8th bhava shows a sudden journey may be related to business and short trip but journey will be with obstaclesor difficulties and intensity depends upon the nature of planet involved. aspects, conjunction should be scrutinised. BANDARGAH TAK JA SAKTA HAI AUR JAHAJ(SHIP) KI SEEDI TAK BHI JA SAKTA HAI LEKIN WAHAN SE WAPIS AANA PADEGA. KOI AURAT (SHUKKR NO.3 ) SAMUDRA PAAR KARNE KE LIYE KAH RAHI HAI. in those travel to foreign lands was through sea but now a days it is predominantly by air so new karaks have to seen regarding this. one thing is for definite and that is ketu relates to travel. varun bhai ji please guide. kulbir bains > Check out what you're missing if you're not on Messenger >
Guest guest
Dear Kulbir ji, You are absolutely right that in the Lal Kitab the Ketu is the karak of journeys and change of place. In the vedic astrology : Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra indicates foreign visits/residence during the main/sub-periods of the lord of the tenth house. That way, the lord of the tenth house in a particular nativity or the lord of the sign Capricorn, Saturn, whenever associated with the fourth house in strength, gives journeys to/residence in foreign countries. Sarvarath Chintamani connects the seventh house and the ninth house with foreign travel. The eighth house, the house of overseas journeys, connected with the house of gains, gives income from foreign lands. The lord of the tenth house associating with the tenth or twelfth house also indicates journey to foreign/distant lands. The profitability of stay/visits in a foreign country depends on the strength of the significators involved. Rahu's connection with houses connected with foreign journeys/ residence, i.e., the tenth, eighth, seventh, ninth and twelfth or with the house of residence, i.e.,the fourth house, also indicates foreign journeys. During ancient times, however, even states in south, east and west India were treated as foreign places for northern Indian States as these were under different kings and had an altogether different culture. The position of the lagna or its lord in the moveable or a common sign inclines a person to be mobile whereas influences of fixed signs on these does impede mental inclination for going to far- off/foreign places. 4th or 5th lord in the 12th might give travel for education. With regards, Chandra Prakash , " kulbirbains " <kulbirbains wrote: > > looking for querry about foreign travel posted by naveen ji, i came > across this example termed misaal no.3 in 1942 edition. here sun, moon > and ketu come to 9th house in varshphal. it says SOORAJ CHANDRA , KETU > KHANNA NO.9 ME HAI WOH BHI UNCH HAI. Guest guest
Dear Kulbir bhai, My apologies. I missed this message. Today, by chance, I happen to stumble upon it. In the Vedic astrology the 6th house is not associated with long journeys. It is generally the 12th,9th and the 7th houses which are associated with long journeys. The 3rd house is associated with short journeys mostly on land. The only reference to the 6th house I ever got was : " if Rahu is placed in the 6th house and its enemies are placed in the 12th house, then there is a possibility that the jatak { native} goes for long journeys " Rahu appears to be quite an important planet for long journeys. It is believed that if rahu is placed in the 1st,6th,7th and 12th houses the person is likely to go for long journeys. With regards, Varun Trivedi , " kulbirbains " <kulbirbains wrote: > > guruji is it correct that 6th lord in 12th represents foriegn travel. > kulbir bains > > , " cptyagi2007 " > <cptyagi2007@> wrote: > > > > Dear Kulbir ji, > > > > You are absolutely right that in the Lal Kitab the Ketu is the > karak > > of journeys and change of place. > > > > In the vedic astrology : > > > > Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra indicates foreign visits/residence > > during the main/sub-periods of the lord of the tenth house. Guest guest
Dear Kanakbhai and Sunil, I think for frquent travellers, I do not think always standard requirements of 3., 9, 12 work . Modern businessman are always travelling. I think along with 3 only 7 or 9 shud be enough. For settlement 12th house comes into prominence. Although 8th house malefics makes one earn abroad, not as per KP .6th comes for travel related to service. In modern society concept of foreign travel needs to be redefined. Guest guest
Moon itself is in 12th. so the question is genuine. Lagna sublord Merc, (3rd lord) is in star of Moon in 12th and in sub of Venus.Venus also in star of Moon.So Lagna promises foreign travel. 9th lord Jup aspects 12th. 12th cusp sublord is Rahu.Rahu reprenets venus by occupying venus sign & being conjoint.Venus in moon star in 12.So Rahu represents 12. Rahu conjoined with 3rd lord Merc.Merc also in star of moon in 12. 9th lord Jup aspects moon.Moon and jup also exchange sign.So moon is also connected with 9th Furthermore, rahu appears as sublord of 3,9,12 cusps. rahu is in sub of Sat in 3.Sat is in star of Rahu again. Sat supports foreign travel but Sat also indicates delay.Saturn is also cuspal sublord of 5-7-11,which are 6,8,12 to 12th.So sublord in neutral. So foreign travel is promised but late.May be in merc dasa -moon bhukti-venus antara. l , Kanak Bosmia <kanakbosmia wrote: > > Dear Suprakash ji, > first data of Horary: > Horary number: 9 > date 22/6/2003 > time: 11.18.00 AM > L.G.hospital-Ahmedabad 23 N 00, 72 E 36 > Question: When will i go abroad for higher eduction? > I request sunil ji to check with his 4 step too. > we will discuss one by one. > regards > Kanak Bosmia > > Suprakash Ghosh <suprakash.ghosh wrote: > > I think we have had enough discussion regarding foreign travel. Guest guest
Dear Friends, I had alook at the chart as if prepared onJun22 ,2003 at Ahmedabad. 12th sub Rahu signifies 3 hence foreign travel assured. Period would in the DBA of Sat, Rahu, Sat , Jup. Period end Sept/mid Oct 2003.This is as per 4 step-theory. Jup connection necessary.Lots of efforts/conflicts between father and son (Sun/Sat) and Sat/Moon connections. Guest guest
Dear Friends, I am a little confused, which/whose Birth details are we examining for foreign travel? Somewhere there was a question of 3rd house relating to foreign travels. The rules and regulations were made when, going from one village to another was considered a short trip, going to a 'big town' a distance trip. When you correlate the time element to distance, you end with up different permutation and combinations. Speed of travel from boats to Dakotas to Jets has increased so much that correspondingly time element has inversed. Hence when we examine 3rd house, we look at shift from residence,12th to 4th house, sukhastana. This is moving out of home per se. Add to this the distance a different combination. Add to this Time period out of home. Lastly purpose of travel. Usually at least 3 houses out of 4 are examined , one house being kept as reference.. Hence we get different combinations. We shud be clear what we are looking for. Guest guest
Dear Chandrasekhar, I totally agree with you 3rd house relates to short travels, distant or otherwise.Additionally short times when out of home. From my personal experience for official purposes,I used to travel frequently out of Bombay, avg once or twice a week , duration 1-2 days. I used to go outside India( mostly USA) two sometimes three times for 7/8 days each trip. This was for about 15/20 yrs.Mostly during Sat Dasa ; Sat being placed 12th/1st. lord of 9th/10th,Vrishaba Lagna. I never stayed for Long periods outside home. In those years, I had a nodding aquaintance with Astrology,so I used to watch Moon movements and also Sun transitting stars. Guest guest
Dear Pavan, The rules n K.P. for this are very simple...you can do it yourself... Cast the horary horoscope, and analyse the XIIth cusp... If the s/l of XII signifies III,IX or XII...The period will be during the conjoint periods of the significators of III,IX & XII. Pl.note that as per K.P., these three houses must be interconnected to each other...and preferably, the Anthara-lord should be connected to IV & XI...for studies/exams... In addition, if the s/l of the Ascendant signifies IX and also III & XII,he will stay there and in due course settle there... Thus one is to judge...as per K.P. With best wishes, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! pavan kumar <pavankumargvpK P Wednesday, 27 February, 2008 10:15:02 PM Re:foreign travel Namaste to you all. Here is a question for your kind answer.
