Dear Sateesh,

 

Yes, transiting Jupiter which normally stays in one planet for 12/13months, has

a shorter duration in its transit to Aquarius.

Transiting Jupiter moved forward to Aquarius from Capricorn earlier this year

for 3 months(May 2nd through July 30th). Then retreated back to Capricorn.

Today, Dec 19th Jupiter has moved forward once again to Aqaurius where it will

stay for 4.5 months until May 2nd 2010.

 

Transit Jupiter will move forward to Pisces May 3rd and stay there for 6 months

til Nov 2nd 2010 when it will retreat back to Aqaurius

for one month (Dec 5th 2010). Making transit Jupiter have a shorter than usual

stay in one sign with a zig zag motion in its placement in Aqaurius for a total

of 8.5 months.

 

However, once transiting Jupiter moves forward to Pisces Dec 6th 2010, it will

firmly be placed there for 5 months before it then moves forward to Aries May

9th 2011 where it will settle down for a longer duration of 12 months in one

sign til May 17th 2012.

Dear Sateesh,

 

I should add that current transit Saturn in Virgo which entered the sign

September 9th 2009, will continue to transit Virgo through Nov 15th 2011 when it

will then enter Libra Nov 16th 2011.

I found jup-sat better when they oppose than they were in

shasta-astaka(6/8) in general.Other members findings are welcome......
