Saturn is now transiting in the 8th house. How can this be Sadasati? so either the birth details you have provided in wrong or the astrologer is wrong or you have not understood him correctly. Sadasati are 7 1/2 years Saturn transits through the 12th, 1st & 2nd house. You are going through what is commonly known as Ashtama sani. However, if the Birth details are correct, that is not the reason for your bad period. Your Kalachakra dasa has changed from Kanya to Karkata - a jump over simha rasi- what we call as Markata gati. This jump is understood to give various troubles, particularly in the initial stages which is till Oct-2012. After which it become much more normal. So you have to strengthen yourself and face the challenges. You are also going through mercury dasa, which is debilated and in the Nakshatra of Saturn which in the 8th of lagna. The neechabanga is done by Mercury itself which means you have to work hard to be successfull. Reciting Vishnu Saharanama, shiva sahasranama will help you a lot. Guest guest Posted December 22, 2009 Report Share Posted December 22, 2009 {It is very interesting to NOTE the spelling you used (Sade Satti) for what most of us spell as Sade Sati or Sade Sathi or similar!} ;-) Sachin, I am sorry to hear about your difficult state. However, you are not experiencing sade sati of Saturn. In order to " prolong the misery! " some jyotishis had been including the transit of saturn in the 4th and 8th from moon (Dhaiyaas, adhaiyaas, kantak shani and other fancy names!), regardless of Saturn, the moon and the ascendant etc! I do not wish to send you home with the false notion that Saturn is an easy planetary indicator or that the other jyotishis are necessarily wrong! What is wrong is the way they generalize the influence of saturn on everyone! Kind of reminds me of Linda Goodman's annual SUN-SIGH readings! Twelve nicely crafted destinies for 6 billion people! Of course we Indians have not strayed too far behind! Even our most prestigious and scholarly journals and magazines have dutifully provided Rashi-readings which while based on moon-signs are not 14 times more precise! Because even though moon moves through a rashi in 2.5 days (on average) as opposed to sun which takes 30 days (give or take), it is still the same 6 or 7 or whatever billion strong population that is being packaged into 12 cubby holes! That said (addressed more at astrologers and beginners etc and not to confuse you!), your chart does show somewhat of a sensitivity to Saturn's transits etc. Your saturn is placed in the 8th house in the sign of a great enemy and in strength, in its own nakshatra. How was the period: March 1991 to August 1991, and then Dec 1991 to July 1998 for you? Particularly the period between November 1996 to June/July 1996? Some difficulty in terms of finances and your family (I presume you were living with your parents then and was there any crisis or strong limitations in terms of finances, education, etc. during that period? An illness or death in family or amongst close relatives is a possibility. If you were fortunate, it could be just a failed attempt at finding a 'relationship' of an amorous nature. It may have not come to anything, of course, given desh kaal etc. I also noticed some typos in your post (2976 which I presume was 1976. Also the birthtime and date etc. Please check again and if any errors, please repost and set those straight before a lot of astrologers spend a lot of time with data that may not be correct! It is interesting that currently jupiter is transiting your moon which holds venus and in natal saturn is in 6th therefrom and currently in 8th therefrom! I have some experience with Guru and Garu (both human forms of Jupiter), but I have no experience with Gari (Nariyal, coconut is also called Gari in some of the states bordering on Gujrat and Maharashtra!), at least in its MAGICAL PROPERTIES, if any -- so will refrain from going there any further! After you provide feedback to my questions and we can establish that we are looking at the right data etc, we may continue. Dasa of mercury posited in 4th as lord of 7th and 3rd pose unexpected problems in employment. In case involved in software devlopment.it is not easy to satisfy your boss in job matters.Jupiter as lagnalors is aspected by saturn in debilitation and enemy house.Need to exercise caution as your enemies will try to make life difficult. I know that atleast my birth, time and place details are correct. However, you are both correct that I have been going through extremely difficult time and it came unexpectedly without a hint. All friends, professional or personal , relatives and others have found reasons to argue intensely and it feels like I have not done anything to deserve it. During this time I am facing legal troubles, acute spouse and family trouble and even extreme professional hardships. The most that I understand is that I should recite Om Namah shivay which I do anyway as He is also my kul devta. Krishnan ji, you also mention that Jupiter provides a way. Do you recommend any particular mantras also? I feel like nothing is in my conrol anymore and I have let destiny take its own course.
