I have always admired people who look at those cryptic clues and find their answers in a jiffy. Having said this, laying out cryptic clues for others to solve has been my strong point. Allow me to clarify that i am just a student of astrology, but that doesnt take away my right to question something new i see, even if it is from a very senior person who may be an expert in what he does. This questioning is only with a view for me to understand the logic behind what is being stated, albiet, definitely with a view of learning, if there is a logic behind it and not to discredit an individual of your stature. In another reply to krishnanji i have stated what i do to check the past to verify the data given by the querant. But your method definitely beats me. Yes i used the word tantrik vastu because tantra is an area that i have never explored and have not much intention to explore as i feel it is beyond the scope of my present birth. Hence i was wondering if your style belongs to those unchartered territories. One thing i have to say is that very few people ask querants questions in this forum, to verify the data as krishnan ji said and they proceed to offer remedies without such verification. On the contrary you take the trouble to verify the data, if that is the intention of your strange questionaire and i must admire you for that. But sir your style definitely beats the understanding of this simple student. Hence, dont you think that your opponants criticism can be better blunted if you are more clearer with your method. Guest guest Posted December 28, 2009 Report Share Posted December 28, 2009 Dear Santosh ji, Once when I was a lot younger, I had a friend who was very heavily into reading scriptures and his father who was a very accomplished advocate and an avid Jansanghi in terms of political thought and very much into preserving the sacredness of Hindu thought and scripture and culture had the most enormous library of vedic and Hindu literature and Suresh indeed was very well-read. So one days as young lads (I think we were in grade 8 or 9) during our daily discussions about jyotish and such, he said something strange! He said that if God appeared before him, and asked him what he wished for he would not ask for riches, or great knowledge or even a beautiful and gentle wife (HEY! We were TEENAGERS, and NORMAL males -- so please give us a break!)! He said that instead, he would ask for " Santosh! " . Contentment! It struck a deep chord within my soul! Indeed -- what good are riches, knowledge, and the rest of the nine yards, if what you have does not give you CONTENTMENT! SUKHA (IV) is not bhoga! And SUKHA can only lead to peace and a smile on your face, no matter what. It is the ONLY RICHES that human beings can take with them OVER THERE, to the HOME away from home, when we die :-) That is the message that SATURN wants to deliver and to teach us so that we do not show up in God's realm as losers but one who has learnt what he or she was sent down to earthly realm to learn! Hence I call saturn the Headmaster instead of Guru the Guruji! Headmasters do not teach! They just go around the school to make sure everyone is listening and behaving and at times wag their stick and hit the desks and so on and sometimes even the students! And they are stern and serious and no-nonsense! But they simply are not good teachers! They are administrators who have forgotten how to teach and how to learn as a consequence! Try teaching SATURN new tricks and you will get a whip-lash because he is just not flexible any more! The soul has dried up in some ways! In the KP Chart (that is Kala Purusha, by the way and not the relatively recent " system " or Paddhati blessed by Uchchishta Ganapathi), moon holds the rulership over the contentment while Headmaster rules its sway over the 7th and 8th therefrom! Mooltrikona being in 8th from cancer, saturn and saturnine natures (the rigid, fixed, and masculine side of the sign and of saturn) will create badha and obstacles for contentment to flow in naturally! But not all is lost for saturn the Headmaster! For its feminine and mother side sits right across from the Universal Mother, the MOON and Karka which in the Kalapurusha chart rules over contentment and PEACE! Saturn, therefore, has a choice! To act strong, rigid and be the Big Papa (that is Papa as in father and not Papa as in sin!) or become the big Mama (that is Mama as in mother and not Mama as in Shakuni!). If I am making Saturn sound like flexible mercury, please remember that it is not non-astrological! Please remember that both Mercury and Saturn have been called Neuter Genders in Jyotish. It may sound derogatory to some rigid folks, but it also signals the realm of possibilities and unfolding of consciousness! You are mistaken on two counts! I have not called any person as Headmaster, though I may have called jestingly certain 'attitudes' particularly when they were dealing with essentially strangers and being rude to them! Which may be something permitted in certain communities and cultures. Secondly, in this DEMOCRATIC Forum, there are no prominent or predominant persons! WE ALL ARE EQUAL and must not let SHAM RESPECT and similar CONDITIONING CONFUSE US!! RESPECT must go BOTH ways! They teach us through stories and anecdotes that we can easily connect to and absorb and retain those better. While fathers want us to learn the 'rules' and not 'waste' our time on stories etc and wasting internet school-time ;-) You may wish to keep an eye on your test-bed of horoscopes (that you refer to constantly and get full updates about! You do have such a personal test-bed of charts, I hope? If not I urge you to start creating such a personal database!)! Particularly, the pitrikaraka and matrikaraka (using a 8-planet system that includes nodes). Examine and continue to observe the planets that form the two chara-karakas and how they play out in your life!
