Guest guest
Dear Shri Ashok, Thanks for your time and advice, I think your reply has a bigger meaning. It is true I am too busy for nothing. One typical situation - I have to be away from my parents during weekdays as I find it hectic to drive 90kms daily. Inspite of full efforts - advertisements in newspaper, matrimony websites, shanti puja for " kaal sarp " and " shukra " , I am not seeing any girl of my choice. These circumstances have infact reduced my professional performance a bit. Should I wear off all gems - " red coral " too??, as I am running mangal mahadasha Will be thankful again for your guidance, Best Regards, Argha. Guest guest
Dear Argha, For the data given by you (after midnight on 20 March 1980), I am getting a scorpio lagna with mars in the tenth (hence no mangal dosh!) and even if we ignore that the nodes are not alone and indeed are accompanied by Jupiter, mars (rahu0 and mercury (ketu), Shani is outside the axis (I do not use Lahiri Ayanamsha!). So I am afraid to inform you, my dear fellow that you had been tossing the gemstones and poojas up the wrong tree! And, please don't feel bad. Your kalasarpa puja perhaps fed some poor and hungry priests (punya), and the gemstones hopefully of good quality and the right size will at the worst be good financial investments, in case you wish to sell them at some opportune time :-) I realize that the clock is ticking a bit menacingly in the perception of you and your parents and elders but these days many marriages still take after age 25-27. Your darakaraka is saturn and he has just entered its natal sign and aspecting the P12. Surya the putrakaraka is placed in the fifth, so please note something: If you do get married between mid-february 2010 and mid-august (or even before mid-july 2010) please do not rush into trying to beget a child! After April 2010 is a better time for raising a family! Your spouse will be one of sharp features, attractive and charming, one you will dote upon and that is where both of you would need to understand one thing: Married life is not a Bollywood movie! So, please do not expect everything to be perfect and both of you shall have slightly different perspectives on what perfection is! With common goals, good communications, both of you have the potenrial for a family life that brings peace, growth and prosperity. The current period till mid-2023 has its ups and downs but overall positive at work and profession and particularly if your work is of a modern kind and somewhat unusual or has an unusual angle/wrinkle in one way or another. After mid-May 2023, things will change. You will have more challenges and responsibilities at work but at that time you will need to bring in all of your learnings and sweetness of soul and to remember that " more flies are trapped with a drop of honey than a spoonful of vinegar! " . Be especially careful then if you are running a business as a senior partner or sole owner with associates and underlings who are jealous of you! I do not advice for or against what other jyotishis have recommended to buy and wear! Please do not ask me for you should really be going back to them for their advice! Feel free to show them what I have written. If for some reason, the data was wrong or I used it wrongly, please do let me know. Best wishes! Guest guest
Dear Shri Rafal, Thanks for your advice. It is really nice to see you replying here. I have been reading everything what you put in " sohamsa " and infact your website is very impressive too. it is really commendable that at such a young age you have achieved so much. I should salute Shri Rath too for his contribution to this noble work. If I ask you to elaborate your advice a little, It may take your time. I had raised a similar doubt about my marriage delay in " sohamsa " earlier. Then Shri S Prabhakaran had replied followed by one by Shri Rath in which he wrote - " when it comes to the node solution lies in doing *exactly the opposite* " . I had a wish to know what he meant by that. May be you can elaborate. By best wishes always with you. Guest guest
Dear Rohiniranjan, Many thanks for your elaborate reply. I never expected that I will get such a response. Regarding birth time, I was born on the midnight of 19th March 1980 when the date had changed to 20th March. time - 00.06 hrs, Delhi. Will it make much difference?? Let me share a more about my life - Born in Delhi, travelled a lot due to father's transfers, again came back to birth place in 1989. After schooling, Bsc from Delhi then again away to Mumbai in 2001 July for MSc from IIT, 2004 July joined an unit of Dept of Atomic energy in Jamshedpur, in Feb 2006 back to Delhi again to join a sister concern of Hindustan Petroleum with a better pay, here I work at present as an oil and gas exploration geologist. In Jamshedpur I worked for underground extraction of Uranium ores. My poor performance in XII exams forced me to take geology in BSc and I did very well in that. I had an interest in jyotisha from a long time. Three years back I met a senior faculty, who taught astrology in BHU, Varanasi. He is of good repute and a noted " sahityacharya " of that area. After meeting him my interest grew and I started reading basic books like - by Dr David Frawley, K B Parsai, Sanjay Rath, and others. Since then I am in touch with him and found a growing interest in this wonderful subject. Now I have just taken admission in a part time jyotisha course in a Delhi. I have a feeling that gems which I am wearing are not actually required (pearl made me more lazy, as I am by nature a little lazy and sensitive already). My background may help you to confirm your anlysis. My Best Regards and many thanks, Argha Basu. Guest guest
Dear Argha, Why make it so complicated! I used the time you gave as an epoch between 19th and 20th! That is why when some 40 years ago when I learned jyotish in India, we used the designation 19/20 to avoid confusing the jyotishis! Who are all human. No difference at all, Argha! Thanks for the verification/confirmation. Thanks for the 'sharing', but why do you call yourself " lazy " as opposed to 'undecided?' Please understand that I am not one of the butterfly-catchers hopping around on internet to trap students! Something in your name just caught my fancy and so I responded! You may never hear from me again! I have already told you what I saw and felt motivated to share with you! Bhalo theko... Guest guest
Dear Rohiniranjan, It is really so nice to read your replies. Lots of thanks again. Whatever you have told is more than I expected. May be time for some for introspection. I am so fortunate to hear from a senior like you. As I am just to embark on a " jyotisha " classroom program, I hope your blessings stays with me. My Best Regards, Argha.
