Guest guest
Dear Dan, Naturally, you will surely get more confused...! You are in the wrong System... You are quoting Traditional Astrologers, and writing in the K..P.System column...! ! As per K.P., generally, depending upon whether you are a businessman,or in service,a professional like a doctor/consulting Engineer or a Software Engineer etc...you should select the Gem indicated by the s/l of the II or VI or X or XI...etc... You are therefore advised to study K.P. for obtaining the best advice on Gem-Selection...Cast your Birth-Chart strictly as per K.P.,following the New K.P. Ayanamsa, then follow the K.P. rules for the correct gem...else,I can assure you deaer Dan,you will surely get more confused...! ! ! If you have access, you may refer to the Magazine K.P & Astrology,Annual issue,1997,Pp 19-21. With best wishes, Yours sincerely, L.Y.Rao. GOOD LUCK ! danrenbr <danrembrandt wrote: six traditional astrologers told me to wear coral, pearl, ruby and yellow sapphire. one kp practicioner told me they are bad for me and i should instead wear a diamond. i was born 5:23 a.m. cst in chicago illinois u.s. a. august 3, 1950. does anyone have any thoughts on this as i am confused.i dont know who is correct. thank you.... Guest guest
Hi Perhaps I can shed some light on the matter. After looking at your chart. Moon is the lord of your lagna and afflicted with Rahu conjunction. So you can wear a pearl for the rest of your life to make the moon stronger as Rahu casts a depressive influence. Right now you are running Mars Mahadasha, and will continue to do so until July 2011. Normally astrologers recommend that you wear the gemstone of the Mahadasha lord to gain best effects if the lord is benefic. Mars for Cancer Lagna is Roga Karaka, and extremely benefical, and in your chart Mars is also vargottama, and therefore already very strong. Personally I don't think you need a gemstone to boost the Martian energy, but the choice is yours as your are running Mars major period and can wear Red coral if you want but please remove it when your Mars period is over in 2011. In July 2029, when you are 79 years old you will begin Jupiter Mahadasha, and I would definetly recommend that you wear a Yellow Saphire than as your Jupiter is delibited in the Navamsa chart. Also I would recommend that you wear a Yellow Saphire whenever you start Jupiter antardasha as well, in order to boost your Jupiter energy, but for that you will need a Dasha chart showing when all the Major and sub periods begin and end. Good Luck.danrenbr <danrembrandt wrote: six traditional astrologers told me to wear coral, pearl, ruby and yellow sapphire. one kp practicioner told me they are bad for me and i should instead wear a diamond. i was born 5:23 a.m. cst in chicago illinois u.s. a. august 3, 1950. does anyone have any thoughts on this as i am confused.i dont know who is correct. thank you.... Guest guest
Dear Su, The science talks only about gems. However one could extend their colours and general characteristics to semiprecious gems and Zircon could be tried in place of a diamond. Personally I think one should wear the gem on the hand one naturally writes with. I do not think wearing the gems in different hands will make then attract and repel effects, though some do think that to be the case. I would not think that they should be different for males and females if they are following some career. If not then the gems should perhaps be worn on the left hand as the necessity would be to strengthen the motor nerves rather than the emotional factors of that jataka. Please understand that these are my personal views and others may have different views on this matter. Guest guest
Dear Aavesh, My opinion is that no single graha gem is all good or all bad for a jataka. The results depend on the functional nature of the graha. So you will find even people who wear Pukhraj suffering from health problems is Jupiter also owns the 8th or especially the 6th bhava. Chandrashekhar. aavesh t wrote: Dear Chandrashekarji and Su, It is always better to check the chart thoroughly before wearing a diamond (The case of a lady comes to mind. She suffered severe health complications when she put on a diamond ring. These problems disappeared the moment she removed the ring).Diamond is all advised for people who have excess Kapha in their body in my opinion In my personal opinion,it is better to get the Graha Shantis performed for the Grahas coming under the Shukra group (Shukra,Shani Maharaj,Rahu and Ketu). This will ensure the best results without any side effects Recommeding gems for Guru is most appropriate as Pukhraj is a relatively safe gem generally speaking (However, the chart has to be carefully studied even in this case) Regards, aavesh Chandrashekhar <sharma.chandrashekhar > wrote: Dear Su, The science talks only about gems. Guest guest
Dear Su, The software J Hora shows time zone as 8 hrs. However I have taken 7.30 as suggested and get a lagna of 16 degrees Sagittarius. Is this Ascendant right? Assuming it is so, the native was running mahadashs of mars the 5th lord and it is not perhaps only the wearing of Diamond that was giving the positive results. If you know the person can you ask whether at that time the native had issues of health of elder siblings? take care, Chandrashekhar. Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekar ji Prior to Jan 1 1982, Malaysia was on 7.30+ TZ. I discovered that not long ago myself when I noticed JHora giving incorrect deg for my lagna. Yes ascendant 16'40 Sag. As for health of elder siblings, between 94-98 all were fine. However, eldest sister became fatally ill in 2000 and passed away early 2001. Native is extremely kind, generous, unselfish and forgiving person with the uncanny ability to never bear a grudge towards anyone. [just for the sake of learning and if its all the same to you,I would be grateful if you could tell me what combinations give that characteristic in this chart]. Is also very independant. thank you rdgs Su Vedic Astrologyandhealing , Chandrashekhar <sharma.chandrashekhar wrote: > > Dear Su, > > The software J Hora shows time zone as 8 hrs. Guest guest
Dear Su, That is on account of Jupiter aspecting the lagna as well as the 5th bhava and Sun getting digbala giving her great self confidence. Mars aspecting the 6th also indicates that she is able to overcome her enemies with ease and that is perhaps the reason she has not reason to begrudge anyone. With Saturn aspecting the Lagna and Moon I am sure she thinks deep before taking any action and this may also help her let go of any animosity that she may feel towards anyone. She may however have some health problems as Moon the 8th lord does go to the Lagna and though without blemish of Ashtamesh, Jupiter being blemished by Rahu in the Navamsha, to me suggest that there could be some health issues with her. Jupiter in the 9th could however suggest that she may not have had much Pitru Sukha ( happiness of father). Take care, Chandrashekhar. vreality_au wrote: Dear Chandrashekar ji Prior to Jan 1 1982, Malaysia was on 7.30+ TZ. Guest guest
Dear Aveshji Thanks a heap for your comments on this chart Sir, its much appreciated. //However,owing to the placement of Shani Maharaj in the 4th house, she will never be recognised for her generosity and will be repeatedly taken for granted by the people closest to her !!// You are amazingly accurate!! While her generosity is recognised it doesnt seem to be openly acknowledged and she is certainly taken for granted by those closest to her. But she herself seems to simply shrug off any negativity on their part and continues to give without expecting anything in return. But as Chandrashekarji pointed out, she perhaps has her own reasons for doing so. thank you. rgds, Su p.s I sent the requested info to yr messenger as yr full e-addy does not show up on the forum site. Im not sure if it was received. If not pls post yr personal ID using 'at' instead of @. Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekarji Thank you for your kind reply. Its interesting that you touched on lack of pitru sukha. Her father passed away 10 days before she was born. I have been looking at her chart trying to work out the combos for that. I read one shloka somewhere [cant recall where now] that said something about the aspect of Sa on Sun with ref to losing ones father. Here Sun is also 9L. There was one south indian astrologer [some 20yrs ago] who upon looking at her chart immediately pronounced that " this child wouldve told her father to 'get lost' even before she was born " . Are there any combos to suggest the prenatal loss of father? As for health issues she suffers from whip-lash related injuries as a result of the car accidents mentioned earlier. Thank you most sincerely rgds Su Vedic Astrologyandhealing , Chandrashekhar <sharma.chandrashekhar wrote: > > Dear Su, > > That is on account of Jupiter aspecting the lagna as well as the 5th > bhava and Sun getting digbala giving her great self confidence. Guest guest
Dear Aveshji thank you for the analysis. Once again you are quite right about my general cautiousness re friendships. As for shanti for relationships, actually Sir I hve no interest in that direction. I know my chart in gen is not particularly conducive to that with Ra/Ke in the 1/7 axis. But it suits me perfectly well My life is for MA only - always has been always will be. Thank you for yr kind wishes. rdgs Su Vedic Astrologyandhealing , aavesh t <aavesh_s wrote: > > Dear Su, > > You are right. You are not very emotional and will take decisions after a lot of thought. > > Shani Maharaj is extremely powerful in your chart. > > Regarding relationships/friendships you are very cautious and do not commit unless you are comfortable in the situation. > > > Currently Shani Maharaj is transiting 5th from Natal Moon.Next 2 years are going to be significant for you.Relationships will be highlighted during this period and you would do well to perform the Graha Shanti for Shani Maharaj,Guru and Mangal immediately > > I wish you all the best for your future > > > Regards, > > aavesh > > > > > > vreality_au <reality_v wrote: > Dear Aveshji > > Details are > > 13/5/61, 2.03 am > > Kuala Lumpur > > TZ 7.30+ > > 101 E43, 3 N10 > > rdgs > Su > > > Vedic Astrologyandhealing , aavesh t > wrote: > > > > Dear Su, > > > > You seem to have an interesting chart from what you have mentioned. > > > > I can comment if you give me your complete birth details along > with dates of two important events in your life (for birth rectification) > > > > Regards, > > > > aavesh > > > > > > > > > > vreality_au wrote: > > Dear Aveshji > > > > Chandra is in Mesh [sorry i forgot to mention earlier], in amavas with > > Surya. > > > > Im not particularly emotional Sir, I would say quite the opposite > > [kethu in lagna]. Guest guest
Dear Su, Jupiter tends to harm the house he occupies and he is in the 9th, the 9th lord Sun who is also karaka for father gets aspect of the 2nd and 3rd lord Saturn and the dispositor of Sun that is Mercury is afflicted by Ketu are the reasons that I though of lack of Pitru sukha for the jataka. Saturn Sun Mutual aspect also does not say anything good about the Pitru sukha. The south Indian astrologer who told that "this child would have told her father to get lost before being born" must have been a very wise man. Take care, Chandrashekhar. vreality_au wrote: Dear Chandrashekarji Thank you for your kind reply. There was one south indian astrologer [some 20yrs ago] who upon looking at her chart immediately pronounced that "this child wouldve told her father to 'get lost' even before she was born". Are there any combos to suggest the prenatal loss of father? As for health issues she suffers from whip-lash related injuries as a result of the car accidents mentioned earlier. Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekarji Thank you Sir, for your kind attention to all my questions. I have learnt much from you and Aveshji. Yes that south indian man was a good astrologer. I believe he also explained why that had to be so in terms of how destiny ought to take its course - but thats irrelevant here. warm regards Su Vedic Astrologyandhealing , Chandrashekhar <sharma.chandrashekhar wrote: > > Dear Su, > > Jupiter tends to harm the house he occupies and he is in the 9th, the > 9th lord Sun who is also karaka for father gets aspect of the 2nd and > 3rd lord Saturn and the dispositor of Sun that is Mercury is afflicted > by Ketu are the reasons that I though of lack of Pitru sukha for the > jataka. Guest guest
*hare rama krsna* Dear Sabi, Namaskar 1. Never. Altough gems have general results described in Puranas (like Garuda P.) they also have specific results related to ones birthtime. For example emerald can delay marriage, or any ratna represented by planet in 2H in D3 will delay or deny marriage. Wearing coral, with Mars in 8 from L/AL/AK can give accidents and illfortune. Wearing Diamond while Venus is in third from AL will give misfortune in sexuality and marriage. Before wearing gem, one should consult Jyotisha. 2. Yes, if one have bad stone in house its also very bad.
