Guest guest Posted January 17, 2010 Report Share Posted January 17, 2010 Dear Somya, There is several vratt(fast) you can do..I know there is vratt like KARWA CHAUTH but for kanya's in month of sravan. 16 SOMWAR is the name, I think. You can fast for 16 Mondays in that season (july/august, check your calender..Also prayers to LORD SHIVA is very helpful..He is know to listen to our prayers and give us rewards..If you have Shiva temple nearby you can go on Mondays and offer milk on shivling and pray to him at the same time. Also worship MATA Katyani and parvati.
