Just because at 1:00:00AM the ascendant changes desn't qualify for a TOB correction. Or is it that you believe, if the ascendant is changed, your fortunes shall be better? If you ask 10 astrologers, they will give 10 different TOB and supplement with 100 arguments to back their claims through their own systems. My own elder's brothers TOB is doubtfull and when I asked my mother about it, the answer she gave was " he was born when the eye- doctor living next door came home for his regular coffee " . My Details are as below : DOB - Jan.8,1968 TOB - 01:00 AM (but my hosital records shows 00:50 AM) This changes my ascendant. POB - Aligarh (INDIA) 27* 54 N and 78* 04 E Life Events as remembered: 1, Education : 10th Standard - 1984, 12th Standard - 1986, B.Com - 1989 2, Started working with my father in his business from 1987 but fully involved in it by Jun.1989. But separated from father's business in Jun.1991 due to family problems relating to wife not able to settle in joint family and moved to Delhi and started my Beads wholesale shop. Then I switched to work for a export company from Jan.1994 till Dec.1996 and then got in to partnership business with father again. But had to separate again due to family matters relating to wife again in Jan. 2003. Since then I own a sole proprietorship firm. 3, First Overseas travel on 4/4/1990 to Mauritius but second one on 10/6/95 to Europe, 22/10/95 to Japan, 21/4/96 to USA, 14/10/1996 I traveled to Singapore and 13/3/97 to South Africa. But after that I am traveling 1-4 times a year on my travel USA only every year till 2003 as I concentrated on my USA market since 1998. After that once a year as my business declined very sharply and it is dead right now and i am looking for a new venture or job to feed my family. It had effected my relationship with my wife also. 4, Marriage : 17/2/1990 Wife's DOB - 13/4/1970, TOB - 7:42 AM, POB -Firozabad (UP) Lati. - 27N 09', Longi. - 78E24' 5, Son's DOB - 22/11/1990, TOB-12:13PM (Afternoon), POB - Sikandra Rao (UP), Lati.-27N42' and Longi - 78N21', Daughter's DOB - 4/11/1997, TOB-7:40 AM, POB - New Delhi 6, Met a fatal scooter accident in Aug.1994 and survived only due to good long helmet and did not came off my head, Otherwise no more. I am not a astrologer so i don't know which ascendant will have better future to me but my date of birth has been ractified by a astrologer by aligning my life events. But i am not quite sure about this. SO i am just asking for a opinion of you learned persons. Please help if you can. And different astrologers have different views. Some say my lagna should be Gemini and some say My Lagna should be Cancer as per Hospital timings...  In your case the Hospital Time would be correct as its 10 minutes before the acs. chaning time.  Logically we can think of rectification when its ahead the acs. time. As when baby is delivered everbody may be busy in taking care of monther and new born... and due to that delay in recording time.
