Astrologers use different parameters and in some cases (Mandy's for instance) have given different periods for the surgery. Now assuming that Mandy does not know astrology, what is she to do in such an instance? Rather than piling on her more possibilities and choices, and thereby further confusing her and causing more anguish in addition to the health condition, my advice would be for her to leave the matter in God's hands and to pray to her God that He or She steps into the Surgeon's consciousness when the surgeon chooses the time of surgery and during the operation! I am not being facetious at all but very serious! Little wonder that general public have such suspicion against jyotish and its recommendations. And it is not just because they are laymen! Five jyotishis, for instance, giving five different dates and periods remind me of another reality that exists in Jyotish! As many or more VERSIONS of the BIBLE -- BPHS! CLASSICS!! I know I am making many of you very uncomfortable and some of you must just be wishing and pray that I simply go away and become silent! But when an ant bites, we get angry at the ant and crush it or flick it away in anger! But most of us do not thank God for giving us a sensory system that enables us to locate the source of pain. There are medical conditions in which that sensation goes away. Such as in leprosy or diabetes where the body parts and exptremeties become numb and the individual keeps hurting and damaging the parts with dire consequences. Recognize the problem that exists in the system rather than sweeping the dirt under the rug! Soon there will be a 'lump' there and it will trip you and make you fall! It only baffles the genuine people who approach with single minded approach and believe totally the need and necessary for advice. If I were to be in place of Mandy;s palce,I would have seen my condition,necessity and vis a vis the Doctors view on the surgery. I do not want waste my time to run again to public forum as for me Doctor is the best person to advise and guide. What ever some jyotish said I would have put it b4 the Doctor taken his views and finish the whole discussion then and there. Some of these are obviously not in the " zone " when they post their requests, perhaps due to a variety of conditions, states and situations !!! And a few are just making fun of the astrologers and wish to send them on a wild goose chase (chalo bhai panditjee ko kaam par lagaayen ;-) type mentality). There are also a few other requests that are more malicious and those have been referred to by other experienced 'observers' a few times as you perhaps recall! It is best to opt for the attitude, " Neki kar dariya main daal! " The *Universe* has many interesting ways of dealing with all these situations ;-) Rohiniranjan (PS: Perhaps you may not have noticed but your postings are arriving in text blocks.
