Dear RR

Yes, without Jyotish Guru everything would be so confusing. If you

remove Guru/Jupiter from the chart then Rahu and Budha take the throne

and the questions/doubts and confusion are only increasing. I bet you

have strong Rahu / Budha influencing your Lagna or Arudhapada. I'm not

saying you are without Guru (I dont know) but you force people to

think....this can be good or bad (like destroying others faith)

depending on rest of your chart

So you are basically saying that astrology is a form of FAITH or in other words

Religion, right Mr. Rafal?

I am not sure why you chose to *attack* me personally when all I did was post a

genuine factor that seems to have been creating a lot of discussion amongst

Jyotishis! Fact of the matter is: Even within the same " School " some acolytes

have changed their views regarding ayanamsha etc. And even more serious

considerations!

I hope I am not bothering you, personally, am I? With my innocent questions? ;-)

If I am, all you have got to do is stop reading my postings!

Dear Guru Rafal Ji,

Namaste,Perhaps this is the firt time in 9 years that I have observed

you writing to any one as " I bet you

have strong Rahu / Budha influencing your Lagna or Arudhapada. I'm not

saying you are without Guru (I dont know) but you force people to

think....this can be good or bad (like destroying others faith). This

is because, you had always been so cool and detached in your writings

and It surprises me as an ordinary astrologer.

I would now like to add what my little learning tells me, I have been

oftenely reading about rectification of charts excercise. Latest on this

I read in Guru Narsimha Ji's new study of finding the timings of events

from D-60 Charts, wherin he has he has used Jagannath Ayanamsh in

place of Lahiri . My humble request to both you and Guru Narsimha Ji

is, that why do not we start using Jagannath Ayanansh,as deafault ? In

other words, should astrologers start using different ayanamshas for

analysing of defferent Dn charts ? I know that that Jhora uses Lahiri

Chitrapaksha Ayanamshas, as default, although other modes of ayanamshas

are also given as options therein. But, does it not confuses commoner

astrologers at large, who are guided to use Lahiri ayanamshas.

I would also like to add that I use the default Ayanamsha and alongwith

the Vimshotri , I am also getting very supporting and accurate readings

from the Narayan Dashas of related charts, by juxtaposing it with

Vimshotri. I do admit that I have never been able to correctly analyse

the higher Divisional charts due to my alpa budhi, and am waiting for

some good and comprehensive book from a Guru to emerge ,specifically for

higher divionalal charts. Therefore, till then, I will try and learn the

rectifications methods and the resultant readings, but not after the

events like marriage,highest position in politics etc have already taken

place,as this falls in the domain of Gurus. However, as the planatery

position of my birth chart is known to you, I will wait with abated

breath, when you write about my higher Dn charts ! With my kind regards

To All Concerned :

Mr Raj Bhardwaj must be thanked for his sincerity and lack of arrogance

in admitting : " I do admit that I have never been able to correctly

analyse the higher Divisional charts due to my alpa budhi.... " . This

statement is quite opposite to what Rafal Ji said : " I'm using this

daily in my services with lot of success. Test it yourself. If the chart

is rectified properly then using vargas with dasas is pure enjoyment. "

Rafal Ji is too enthusistic. I had put forth the question after decades

of testing and I also know the solution which no one needs here. The

forthcoming astrological conference in Allahabad on Feb 20-21, 2010 will

devote one full session to " Significance of Shadasha Vargas " . Mr Raj

Bhardwaj should be there, Allahabad is not far from Dera-Bassi, RR JI

and Rafal Ji live far away. I am myself a guest there, otherwise I would

have invited him. We need persons with open minds who want solutions of

confusions. We must not care for those omniscient persons who deny the

very existence of problems.

I think Raj Ji is exaggerating by saying " never " . Some higher charts

may be correct even by chance. But this is no proof of a correct method.

The reason is NOT alpa buddhi of Mr Raj Bhardwaj, but defects in popular

methods which are not admitted by a majority of astrologers.

To get rid of confusions, some people fight with the problems while

others hang themselves on some good or bad guru. The chief task of a

good Guru is to teach how to fight with problems. A bad guru provides

readymade answers of everything under the Sun and makes the chelas

self-complacent. The last skandha of Shri Mad-Bhaagavata says that an

ignorant disciples prefers an ignorant guru.

I was surprized by Mr Rafal's offensive language against Rohiniranjan

Ji, because both of them are known for equanimity.

As far as confusing parts of higher divisionals are concerned, my work

on Hora-skandha is over and I have successfully tested the efficacy of

many higher divisionals even in Medini Jyotisha. For instance, in

financial forecasting D9 and D2 are effective everywhere, D2 being of

less importance as BPHS says (cf. vimshopaka), and D16 is effective for

automobile and real estate stock prices. I have found 100% success in

post-event analyses, but in forecasting sometimes I err because of

inability to fully analyse all charts.

Astrologers have little interest in rains, hence I have switched to

financial forecasting for testing mathematical methodology.

Rafal Ji,

After I saw your chart, I feel there was nothing offending in your

remarks to Rohiniranjan Ji ( " If you remove Guru/Jupiter from the chart

then Rahu and Budha take the throne and the questions/doubts and

confusion are only increasing. I bet you have strong Rahu / Budha

influencing your Lagna or Arudhapada. " ), because you have strong Rahu &

Budha both influencing your Lagna. But, then, why you are not having any

confusions ?? Due to some good Guru, I suppose.

Dear VJha

The moment I left Guru-mantras the confusions are welcoming me with

flowers and garlands

Rahu in trikona gives doubts and something what Srila Prabhupada calls

'overintelligence'. Its very good planet for material sciences and

western philosophy but for branches like Veda, Vedanga, Upaveda where

descending proccess of getting knowledge is involved Rahu can play a

very negative role where one can question everyone and everything. This

can lead to leaving Veda and Guru and starting some independent 'wild'

branch. Therefore for other than Jyotisha tradition of astrology Rahu

will be placed strongly in trikona to Navamsa as these were leaving the

Veda and taking some parts of it whilst building some other system.

Budha strives for never-ending arguments and thesis with no conclusion

at least when Mars or Sun (Vedanta) is strong in the chart.

Luckily I have Ju-Ke in trikona to Navamsa Lagna and Karakaamsa which

blocks this Rahu in Lagna but still even in current periods many doubts

are arising. The positive Rahu makes one researcher and collector of

charts, these people are very innovative and inventing. This becomes

within rules of tradition if Jupiter is blessing or if one is strengthed

by Guru-service, Guru-mantras, service to Å›astra/tradition and so on.

So we have : dogma and stupid following without questioning (negative

Ketu) and overintelligence, confusion and too many doubts signified by

Rahu. The ballance is always akasha tattva rules by Jupiter so Guru is

the focal point in all learning where Veda, Vedanga (Jyotish), Upaveda

(Ayurveda) is included.

No,it was my feeling of surprise only that I wrote the msg as an

Why do you want to waste time? Why not use that time in giving readings to those

who seek the same -- rather than using astrology for making personal attacks and

All I was doing was reminding that 'ayanamsha' is also another factor with no

irony or sarcasm intended. Not sure why that factual statement pressed his

'buttons' and he dropped the very basic professional ethic of never misusing

astrology and using it for personal attacks, particularly on another astrologer

:-)

Please see Rafal Ji's chart, then you will realize that he had no intention of

offending you (because his own lagna is influenced by Rahu and Budh). He forgot

to mention this fact and was careless in use of words, which caused the

Rohini Da,

Rafal Ji is absolutely right and must be praised for being straightforward and

candid. According to Kundalee's Vimshottari, he is undergoing

Rah:Mar:Rah:Rah:Sat , Mars debilitated in Varsha-pravesha and Maasa-pravesha

charts. Rahu is exalted (moola-trikona) in D1 but combust in Sun which sits in

6th in bhaava-chalita D1.My ganita method differs.

He should fast, at least, on Tuesday for gaining his composure. After Rahu's PD

and SD ends, he will improve Upaasanaa. It is a benevolent advice which he may

ignore.
