Guest guest
Dear Hirak Basak, Fortunately everything is not pre-destined, though lot of things are. We come in to this world with a baggage called 'Prarabdha Karma'. Based on this many events in life are pre-destined. But, the good news is that human beings are also born with intellect which is a function of free-will. Though many events in life are pre-destined, how one reacts to those events is a function of free-will. This interplay of pre-destined events and the actions taken through free-will will further shape how one would lead their life. It is also important to remember that 'we should always try to do our best given a situation'. Only this way we could exercise our free-will to its fullest potential as we don't have an idea what our degrees of freedom (from past karma) are. Again, each of us are born with different degrees of free-will which is again pre-destined. 'Problems are not optional but suffering is' as some great souls have stated. I hope you might have got some clues now. I may not have properly articulated what I want to say. Even his appearence in the TV show was pre-destined as mentioned by him. Then again, every other astrologer says that one should marry after matching horoscopes. Here lies the confusion. If one's destiny is written and it cannot be changed, then whats the point in matching horoscopes. If it is written that what is going to happen after one's marriage, then there is no point in matching horoscopes because what is destined is going to happen. There are other instances also where this type on confusion prevails. Please enlighten me. Regards. Hirak Basak Save all your chat conversations. Guest guest
Dear Sir, Namaste. It is a fact that every thing is pre destined. Mana eva Manushyanam Karanam Bhandha Mokshayo:" is the dictum. Man every individual, is born with a set of Vasanas of his own. He acts, moves, thinks according to his own jvasanas, mental make up That is the real personality of man. That accumulated vasanas due to his experience's in his previous births, longing desires, ambitions all these are the total sum of his body, mind and intellect he has acquired in this birth. He will go only according to it. No doubt he can overcome Thai and evolve higher, or conquer the destiny as Markandeya for which he has to fight against the prakriti or Maya, erase all previous imprints of Samskaras , the circle of Maya. This is possible only by ardent and strenuous practise of Tapas and Divine Grace. This Tapas, observing in a small way called Prayachitta is prescribed for for small disturbances in our life, which is suggested In prayachitta Kanda of the Sastras. It clearly explains the reasons for all the evils, sufferings in a mans life and how to overcome that. Basically the Devotion to Lord, adherent to Dharma gives strength of mind to overcome or even to face any eventuality in the life and there by we pass over that Karma by experiencing the same and evolving ourselves to higher level. Sorrow, difficulties in life are the real Masters makes a man evolve in one's life. Om Tat Sat. HAri.Venkataraman

Guest guest
Umesh, There could be a problem with your birthdata, as posted! Would you be so kind as to post two events over which you had no control with full data (use the format YYYY Month DD, for example 1999 January 27 ...). Also, please tell us about the source of your birthdata (recall, by which relative, how old were you at that time or family diary etc! An aunt or even mother recalling a birthtime when a child was five could be way different from if the child got interested in birthtime when mother was 44 or 55!). Also, if birth was at home or in a hospital. Is Dhule the same as Dhuliya as it was called back in 60's? Sorry for being a bit particular and making you go through all this trouble ;-) RR_, , " kul_umesh25 " <kul_umesh25 wrote: > > Hello, > > My birth details are as follows > > DOB - 25.11.1977 > TOB - 10.55 am > POB - Dhule (Maharashtra) > > In the tenth house of my horoscope, Venus (around 25 degree) is placed in Libra.
