the word currupt was certainly wrong u can still use it by saying a few

currupted versions r also there.

 

otherwise the right thing to say is the rich diversity our Bharat varsha has ,

each ethnic entity has its own translation of different sanskrit works apart

from local wisdom so at times they do get mixed into one another. also the

understanding ppl get of sasnskrit which is multi-layered and at diff contexts

can mean diff things to anyone , entirely depends on their prevailing precptions

and context.

 

NPHS as seen by NNK, RS, g k sharma , varnasi, venmktwswara press, chowkambha

Madura krishna murthy shastry, versons r a few to name AND R DIFFERENTin some wa

y or other to one another. nroadly may be same though.

Dear Rohini Ji,

 

from your own articles you have said that there are so many versions of BPHS

that it is difficult to say how many additions and deletions have taken place

(not in these exact words of course-if i dont take this bail, you will ask me to

tell you the article where this is stated so). hence, would like to use the word

corrupt. I mean the transalations available today. are you saying that in the

ORIGINAL sanskrit version rahu and ketu have been given ownership. my

explanation ends here and let the seniors educate the juniors rather than the

other way around.
