Guest guest Posted January 14, 2010 Report Share Posted January 14, 2010 There are many factors to be taken into account while predicting earthquakes, and one of them is Sarvatobhadra Chakra which is normally neglected but was eulogised as Chakra-raaja by ancients. At the time of Haiti Quake, chart made from its capital had the letter " H " viddha (pierced) by Saturn, Ketu, Mercury and Moon, and the tithi 14 which started ~5 minutes after the major shock was viddha by Jup, Sun, Rahu. Merc was retro and Mars was debilitated. Jup was enmically in 6th. In D9, Sat, Jup and Moon were highly malefic and in D30 Venus and Sun were malefic while Rahu and Ketu were with debilitated Sun. In Annual Chart (Mesha Samkraanti), Haiti lied in Mercury's house which pierced tithis 13 and 14, while Ketu pierced " H " and " E " , the latter was viddha by Moon too. In Nakshatra Chart (Uttaraashaadha) Sat, Ketu and Merc pierced " H " , Mars pierced the vowel " AI " , Jup-Rah-Moo-Sun pierced the tithi 14. This chart was highly malefic because all planets excluding Mercury were highly malefic : Sun-Ven-Rah in 12th Ketu in 6th Sat in 8th Mars-Moon debilitated (neecha) Jup Maarakesh and in enemy Saturn's first house. Hence, all charts and most of the planets contributed in this event, but Ketu was most influential due to high aspect on Haiti and always piercing " H " in all relevant charts. It is hard to predict whether such combinations will cause only earthquakes and not some other calamity. Further research is needed. It can serve as a indicator for accumulation of resources and necessity ahead of time or to plan mobilization or evacuation depending on the exigency. Or the cities in countries where it snows a lot can plan and manage their budgets appropriately. These are not paltry things. These are REAL potential advantages of the VISIBLE kind which astrology can perhaps provide. In comparison to that whether the Phalit folks like me predict for individuals when they will get a job or get married or have children while important does not help a large number of people. And that goes for the remedy wallahs too! Your work regarding weather prediction and calamities, and of others who are dealing with mundane astrology is indeed very important and has the potential to pragmtically help nations. While predicting cricket match and football scores and who will win the election is important but really does not match in importance or provide direct benefit to society as much as weather, climate, calamity prediction does, once it has been fine-tuned. The trend seems to be that calamities etc would be on the rise, even if what we are seeing may be a cluster effect as opposed to a trend, but we all need all the help we can get! Good work, Sir!!
