Dear Mebers,

We r already on course to another 100+ posts today also but like this post that

is

NOT A ASTRO CONTENT, I hope we do return to the path chosen for the group

if there r is topic running pl do start a thread to awakem/rejindle a useful

thread from any work or examples u have een in ur astrological study journey

plz...

lets make it a habit to stick to such paths occassional drift, a dose of variety

is fine

not the reverse of it.

and pl do edit the threads suitable

it is misleading to still talk of movies, meera bhajans, hema malini etc under

Dear RRji,

I hope know my answer even before I reply.

1 that whenever I find time I have certainly not shyed away from sharing what i

know recent one on Eclipses even y'day is a case in point.

2. where i can't fill in i have solicited help from members like u, krishna ji,

Suresh babu ji, M tripathi ji, rafel g, , though others like Gopu, Nikit, anup,

gaurav ghosh ... also did their bit on and off.

3. my time constraints I have been sharing with some of the seniors privately

and NOT MUCH has changed, whatever time I get am surely doing what i can, my

reading of queries itself has dropped in the past 2 yrs plus as much as I like

to keep it on a good level.

4, previously cooking i had options of doing it on and off m now full time. esp

no salt, no oils stuff for my mother and the rest me, father normal stuff my

niece is here on a holiday got stuck in the situation inbetwen that came in and

have still maanaged to give her the best time, attn i can within my limits a

week more to go hope to make it a better visit, and repeat one next summer from

Down Under.

5. i have stepped in only when someone or other has pointed out to a drift,

abuse or a drag or snags in postings from itself kind, never pushed any

agenda or been doing what is not in the best interests of the group, JYOTISH AT

LARGE.

5, i will still try to put in some new threads when there is a drift, LET ME

WORK ON THEM but need some continuity from others as well

5a. 2 news items of interest to astrology y'day also DID NOT get a single reply

retrogression of Mars, and MP in UK who used astrology effectively unlike the

hypocrites or pseudo secular politicians of India

we r behind u, assure u of support as well.

Prashant_jee,

I was not trying to force you to write etc. It is good to hear that there are so

many of us volunteers who pitch in, and can help this forum.

Please take your time and never feel pressed to write or lead any threads or

discussion. This is a very democratic and compared to many others, a very civil

and mostly affectionate forum. Yes we have banters and some trouble-makers who

hardly ever contribute anything meaningless other than their personal angst

cropping up and so on, but even the deadliest malaria-bearing mosquitos can be

thwarted through well-known preventive measures!

Dear RRji

thanks for the supprt/assurances and this was what I meant by my

posts/intervention I am as much worried like any member be it Gopu ji or anyone

when we drift too far from the subject and I AM NOT AVERSE TO DIVERSITY,

occassional does of fresh air, reliving moments either, which add spice to our

lives and the forum as well.

But the need to bring back Jyotish center stage is our collective

respomsiblity,goal always and am happy to see VRY, Gulika etc and other

elements taking over the threat sun's placement. let the thread sutibly be

re-phrased in replies by members

as always when I can add something i will surely do.as said i t is a collective

job. less of the moderator as a person, more as a fellow astrologer is what I

love to be seen doing. this is possible only witht he co-operation of one and

all.

Gulakan and maandi are a lil misunderstood areas. It would be nice if you could

take up on lilly's query and also changing the subject of the thread.

I believe that way diversity can be maintained with focus on astro as you have

said.

Dear Prashant_jee and others on this forum,

I hear you! All of YOU, really! But here is my problem:

What is this JYOTISH that you all want to hear and see, mostly, often,

sometimes? Is it merely REHASHED old writings and copy and paste segments from

published books that at least I have seen on other forums from Great Writers!

Or does one want to read garbled, half-truths and indecipherable messages poorly

formatted and in some cases with 'Andaas' -- strange characters that get in the

way of the text and what one is trying to say for valid or invalid reasons --

all justified, of course!

There is PLENTY that has been written about jyotish and most of it is available

for free! But who has the time or SINCERITY to read?

Someone burns the midnight oil and takes the time to post a painstakingly

written research article with lots and lots of examples and the half-baked

critics come out with their cocky attitudes and create more confusion because

they are half-cocked and have neither the ability or experience to write clearly

and in details! Or with examples!

Friend or Foe, I challenge each and everyone of you to come forth and show your

brilliance and dedication and not the two or three syllable sentences that you

are capable of!

The peanuts are on me if you manage to ...

I personally have a lot to learn about Joytisha as well as remedy(God knows I

need it!)..How come I never get to read the free stuff..They always end up

charging me even for the rehashed material.
