Dear R.R Ji,

//Please Relax and enjoy, don't take it too seriously ...! :-)//

I have written to you before also that i am not here to relax from being a busy

businessman and that i take astrology and my membership here seriously. I

reiterate the same and hence i am sorry, cannot act upon your advice.

I had downloaded you excellent article CP JYOTHISH I and i will make time to

read it. On an initial scanning i noticed that you have appended a glossary

which is an excellent idea. Glossary and Index are soemthing which is rarely

found in Indian Jyothish Books. The last entry in the glossary struck my eye;-

YOGAKA*RAKA - a planet in the same sign and navamsha sign, held as important as

one in its own sign.

was it a typing mistake or is there some reason for you to write so?

i was searching for neechabhangarajayoga in the article. I did a search and i

found that its definition is given only in the glossary without the conditions

for NBRY. if it is mentioned elsewhere the search function did not return it. I

request you to kindly mention the chapter number/page number where conditions

for NBRY is mentioned if it has been covered in the article.

Thanks and Regards

Santhosh

Dear Santhosh jee,

When did we (most of us who are truly dedicated to Jyotish ...!) ever get

distracted from what we all love and have been blessed with and by ...?

Other than the pauses that refresh...!

When a movie is playing in the cinema hall, one watches quietly and wait for it

to end!

Each movie MUST end, in order for the next SHOW to begin -- I am sure there will

be more movies and circuses in future ...

Please Relax and enjoy, don't take it too seriously ...! :-)

Obviously be a typo. That should be vargottama. The glossary was added way back

in early 80s and has not been updated. Will fix it for the next version. I am

curious about something. Since you have downloaded it it could be an earlier

version. Could you please check and report back the last page number in what you

have?

Thanks

You are missing 22 pages, at the very least! Can you let me know privately the

URL of the site you downloaded it from? Older versions should not remain

available for obvious reasons :-)

It has been a while since I looked through it but do remember covering NBRY in

it. Please remember that it is a Primer, for a stark beginner as I had cautioned

earlier so may not have a detailed discussion. If you find it, please let me

know.

Thanks for catching the typo. Hope you enjoy skimming through the docs!

That would be the boloji site. I don't believe it ever had the primers, but I

Dear Santhosh ji,

Now that more immediate questions have been answered, I must address this

'misinterpretation' on your part! :-)

Perhaps I should have used the term, " CHILL " and not Relax -- which brought on

this reaction from you!

I have generally found it useful to reserve a compartment in life in which only

Jyotish and our to Jyotish exists -- a sanctum sanctorum of sorts! When

we enter it, we do not bring in what else we are, whether busy businessman or

whatever else we are...!

But it is difficult, at least in the beginning and I fully empathize with you,

on that point!

Also, by " here " I did not mean this or another Jyotish club or domain! I meant

'here' where only Jyotish exists! It is sad that people drag in their problems

from outside this domain and create a ruckus. We have seen it many-a-times and

shall see it many-a-times, sometimes here, at other times elsewhere -- and will

do so way beyond 21 December 2012 :-)

People who come from technical backgrounds, particularly professional and from

the harsh reality of business often bring in the " pressure " and the 'efficiency'

models into the temple too! Even while the Arti or Bhajan is going on, they keep

looking at their watches every so often and keep getting distracted by their

vibrating cell-phones and blackberrys and while their physical eyes are fixated

on Bhagwan Vishu, their inner eye is visualizing the market trend that they

missed while in the temple and must stay up to catch up with and so on!

One can be sincere, serious, engaged and yet relaxed and mindful!

Remember that scene from GANDHI? Even during the serious discussion that was

going on with the Type A politicians who were discussing the fate of India after

British Rule, the Mahatma walked away from it to attend to his duty to the GOAT

who needed a mud-pack!

His reward and recognition for his engagement and personal sacrifice to INDIA

and INDIANS was by getting assassinated, at almost the very end of this very

month 62 years ago!

PEACE!

If jyotish were to be a simple formula of 2+2 probably the advent of JR would

we enter it, we do not bring in what else we are, whether busy businessman or

whatever else we are...!

PEACE!

Dear Robert Patrick,

Attachements are not allowed on this forum.

So provide DOB, TOB, POB (Place of Birth) and if outside India, provide the

Longitude, Latitude.

Astrologers here shall make out the chart themselvs.
