Guest guest
Dear Krishnan Dada, All three charts in the Sudarshan Kundali (lagna, sun, moon) belong to the same varga (=kshetra), therefore naming it as a " varga " could create confusion (something that seems to be created rather easily in modern students as I gathered from someone's post here recently!). Hence, I would shy away from calling it a Varga! There have already been created extra vargas in the past, over and above the basic 16, vargas such as panchamsha, ashtamsha and more are being described which will make the kaleidoscope so complex that only the finest minds will be able to decipher or utilize these. And there are also the modern variants of the standard vargas which make for very interesting perspectives and sometimes throw light on the somewhat confusing Hora and Trishamsha, for instance, as described in BPHS as well as the trine-based drekkanas. But like I recently wrote somewhere, " What is in a name...? " . Though in the recent EST magazine an article writes about the magical energy that is embedded in a vedic name. Sudarshana Kundali composite gives a interesting glimpse into the deciphering of the unfolding of the Yogas (and arishtas) and also what I found of great benefit in BPHS in that chapter was the clear hierarchy of responsibility of planets in a kundali, Kshetra for sure but perhaps other vargas also. Chotay munh badi baat! I better shut up before the warriors pounce on the poor little, lovable ant, once again ;-) Rohiniranjan , Vattem Krishnan <bursar_99 wrote: > > Finally can we consider Sudarshana as a Chakra serves better than Sudarshana as Varga. > What I understand frankly varga is part of whole that is chakra. Also a potential armour always kept in store? > > > Vattem Krishnan > Cyber Jyotish Services > (For all counseling services) > Dr.B.V.Raman " Fools Obey Planets While  Wisemen Can Control Them " > Planets are neutral Controllers of Mans Karma >  > > --- On Fri, 1/22/10, Lalkitab Kb <lalkitabkb wrote: > > > Lalkitab Kb <lalkitabkb > Sudarshana Chakra became Sudarshana Varga! > > Friday, January 22, 2010, 2:29 AM > > >  > > > > >  > > Dear Gurudev; > Thanks for the correction. > > " Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.. > -Sir Winston Churchill > > Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm. > -Sir Winston Churchill > > Success is a lousy teacher.
