Guest guest
The front of the hand changes over the lifetime! The front being the 'presenting' part of the hand! When we are born, we come with fists fully clenched: A fistful of potentials, a hand curled shut which is why a horoscope is needed to understand the promise, the bounty that the infant brought from a heavenly realm where bounties and blessings abound! Hence many of us treat an infant as a GIFT from the HEAVENS! But when we die, our hands are open, our palms showing in full public view, fingers outstretched -- Kissa khatam, kahani khatam. Lagna becomes History (HIS - STORY -- of the one that died!). Knuckles are all we see when an infant presents itself to the world, its palms hidden! (There is a very simple biological reason for all that, but let me not bore you folks!). Knuckles represent challenges, secrets, the " figure me! " challenge that children represent! Many parents get it, others remain clueless! Astrology really helps!! When the human being dies, some astrologers make Punya charts and what not of the time of death -- generally as illusive if not more than the moment of birth, regardless of whether YOU were present there at the moment of birth or of death! :-) The tips of the fingers, at the moment of death are the 'presenting parts', the *front of the hand*. The dead person is reaching out to 'touch-the-world', some poet would say! " kind of late in the game brother, is it not ...? " , some nasty but realistic astrologer type would cynically comment! Blessed are those who embrace Jyotish early, rather than late! And, it is never too late!!
