Namaskaaram Shenoy_dada,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write in such details. I did realize

that the nadis are not placed as railway tracks (three tracks in this case) but

are spirals. This is not my domain, I not being a tantrik, but I believe I have

read (in Johari's books and the kundali experience autobiography by ?Gopi

krishan?? jee, the latter a very very long time ago.) that the surya nadi

(Pingala) arises from the right and then spirals and ida/ira from the left. The

" dakshiney pingala " quoted by you also indicates that it is to the right

(dakshin hasta is right hand, vama is left). Johari also mentions if memory

serves correctly that when the right nostril turbinates are open and breath

dominantly flows through the right nostril, Pingala or surya nadi is active and

when breath flows through the left, the cooling effect if ida is felt. Some have

associated the ida and pingala with the sympathetic and parasympathetic, but let

me not bore you.

Just as an interesting aside, since I have lived more than half of my life in

regions where the climate is like Siberia during winter (nearly 5-6 months each

year, with many days with temperature lower than -20 C and often in the

dangerous -40 C zone with wind chill --although with advancing age, they seem to

be longer and longer!), I tried a simple trick once taught to me by someone. It

involves, forcing the breath to mover through the right nostril and some other

details. This generates a feeling of warmth and makes Mother Nature's Cold

Caress a bit bearable!

But let us not pursue this topic which has no relation with this forum.

WARM Regards :-),

Dear Chaudhary Ji,

I hope you did not misunderstand my post, and my meaning of SANYASI, which was

really meant to be understood in a broader perspective! By the way I have

nothing against SANYASI leaders!

Some see the world as an active participant, while others see it as a detached

observer! Some see the forest, and others ONLY see the tree! But, both use the

same organ to " see " . But, I have also heard that these " EYES " are the most

deceptive organs of all that we have..Perception is reality, as many have said

before!

By the way, I live 2 hours away from SWAMI VIVEKANAND ASHRAM and had a chance to

spend some time in that ashram..In fact, that whole town is dedicated to him and

the followers of RAMAKRISHNA mission..So I am totally familiar with SANYASI

life.

//The word " Sanyas " is for " ABSOLUTE RENUNCIATION " .Nothing more nothing less.//

You want an example of a real SANYASI---LORD SHANKAR/MAHADEV!

No one come even close to him in comparison, and even he managed to have a

grihasti with Ma Parvati and son Ganesha & Kartikeya!

Aren't you mixing apples and gold-rings, Lilly?

Do Gods have four ashrams as well, ending up with Sanyaas?

Why use Columbia Shuttle as an example when we are trying to figure out what a

bicycle should do or be like ...?

Know anything about what would happen when one prays with such " Bhavana " ?

What one throws up straight comes back to you.

Krishnendu_jee,

You perhaps did and hence went silent. But the Signal to Noise ratio is still

low, hence I feel the need to repeat and elaborate, if you and others do not

mind!

It is not that we (humanity) had been deprived of Divine presences and Messiahs

and Awataars and Gurus and so on...

But while they were alive and *tangible* the great unwashed simply remained

dubious and sceptical. I am not talking of the relatively puny gurus and

acharyaas who claimed to change the world over the last 50-100 years but even

longer!

Take for instance Christianity. A rather STRONG and dominant religion worldwide

whether you like it or not or accept it or not. It did not really come to

fruition until after Christ died!

I just wish to draw your attention to this curious nature of human mentality! We

would rather bring out our DEEP-WELLING over BHAKTI when we see a picture of

Christ or Mary bleeding or a Ganesha Murthi in Stone pouring out milk or similar

instances but not trust the human messenger sent by God!

Maybe God does not really GET IT! Maybe there is something very intrinsically

infantile within all of us, something very aboriginal, still holding on to the

MAGICAL THINKING that infants are supposed to shed and outgrow from! We would

rather wait for some miracle, some magic, rather than pay attention to the words

and wisdom that already exist and continue to remain available!

God TRULY does not get it! Neither do most of us...!

I can vouch for that! When I truly wanted something from the bottom of my heart,

with deep intensity, I have got it! So miracles do happen, as it happened in my

life.

We all here already know that you are Unique, Lilly! :-)

Now, how do you transfer your blessings and learnings to others ...?

I am being presumptive of course in assuming that that is what you wish to do

....!

Are you making fun of me on this public forum, RR Ji?

Am I the laughing stock for everyone on this group! All I wanted to do was share

me life experience, and so far I have been anything less than an open book.

No LIlly, you should not feel sensitive at all. I am not 'making fun' or

'pulling your leg'. You are much younger than me, based on the birthdata you

posted here, so the question of making fun does not arise at all.

Now ponder on the next statement of yours. How can you share with others a very

deep experience and yet state that you have been anything less than an open

book? I think you have shared openly, even if we do not know your name or other

less meaningful details which do not mean anything on the internet. Lot of

people use pseudonyms, handles, and so on. Yet a lot gets shared.

Since you were signing your messages as 'Amma' and calling others 'Bachchaas'

etc, it was natural to assume that you wish to teach and guide others. So my

question was not at all inappropriate! Won't you agree??
