Inter-relationship between Astrology and Spirituality in Human life....

Dear Respected JR members,

 

Pranam to all. The above subject is one of my subject of brooding for quite a

while. The reply by respected RR Sir is being very candid and clear as far as

the limitedness of application of Astrology (i.e. predictions, remedies etc...

ending with success (???) in spiritual persuit) in an individual's life

pursuing or interested to pursue a spiritual life even in a Grihastha Ashram.

 

I will appreciate the valued comments of our subject (Astrology) experts.

There are many in this world who are spiritually inclined, but have obligations

of grahasti life at the same time..So, is it not possible to live in a household

and perform our duties, maintain relations, and while being a karma_yogi, remain

MENTALLY DETACHED to everyone, and everything, including our own actions...That

to me is a REAL SANYASI! I think that is where our real TEST shows up! Even in

the holy GITA, it says to do our duty and not to worry about the FRUITS of our

action!

Dear Mihir Acharya jee!

 

What a beautiful name your parents gave to you! Mihir being the name and Acharya

being the family name! You remind us of Varaha jee, of course!

 

Quite frankly, I doubt very much about the value of Sanyaas or Sanyaasis in

mundane reality too! Some have tried, for many decades but they just end up

confusing the 'worldly types' and then get all confused themselves and get angry

and leave and then return and leave and end up confusing everyone!

 

Four Ashrams were created by Ancients! B-G-V-S

 

I had always sensed those as being not BOUND by TIME! One does not have to do

all FOUR in the same lifetime! That would be SILLY given that we have been given

so many reincarnations to figure it all out!

 

Interestingly, even amongst the spiritual kinds, there are the Type A

personalities! They are in some sort of overdrive to arrive at Moksha! And they

make the rest of us restless and impatient and distracted!

 

Spiritual ascension is not a GROUP EFFORT!

 

The ladder may be the SAME and have the same rungs for each of us, but there is

only room for ONE PADA on each RUNG of the ladder at one time!

 

When you are ready, to proceed, Mihira jee, please focus on the ascent and on

your padas! ONE STEP AT A TIME!

 

It is actually very simple and straight-forward as long as you do not get

distracted by the winds that keep swaying the ladder held by the rope of YOUR

reality...!
