I will take that to mean that Vikrant intended to post his words to the public forum and also send a copy to Kulbir. That sort of thing happens all the time. It is possible that the public copy was gobbled up by internet or moderated etc. What is really unethical is to use the email link on a public forum and to send a private email, as Vikrant did in this instance. Such a private intrusion is justified ONLY if the two people know each other or in special cases the sender must add a flag, such as PRIVATE in the subject header to indicate that it is private and not a public mail sent by mistake directly. Even after that courtsey would demand that the sender apologize for the private intrusion and explain the reasons for doing so to a stranger. Like COMMON SENSE, COMMON COURTESY seems to have died from certain DOMAINS on Internet!!
