Guest guest
Dear " Kumar jee! " . There is a very specific and special reason why I have always addressed YOU with that monniker! And the ONLY reason much of our conversations and sharings happen on this forum is very simple! We hardly hear from Tanveer who created this forum! I presume and in a sense KNOW that he trusts us all and only shows up when he is bored or feels that he has nothing better to do! Please note that the original email from Vikrant had the subject header starting with JR. I will take that to mean that Vikrant intended to post his words to the public forum and also send a copy to Kulbir. That sort of thing happens all the time. It is possible that the public copy was gobbled up by internet or moderated etc. > > What is really unethical is to use the email link on a public forum and to send a private email, as Vikrant did in this instance. Such a private intrusion is justified ONLY if the two people know each other or in special cases the sender must add a flag, such as PRIVATE in the subject header to indicate that it is private and not a public mail sent by mistake directly. Even after that courtsey would demand that the sender apologize for the private intrusion and explain the reasons for doing so to a stranger. > > Like COMMON SENSE, COMMON COURTESY seems to have died from certain DOMAINS on Internet!! > > Rohiniranjan > > , " Suresh Babu.A.G " <sureshbabuag@ ....> wrote: > > > > Dear Kulbir, > > Â > > It is not a good practice or ethical to bring private messages on open forums like this. Guest guest
Dear RRji, well it will be sad to have a kindergarten or a totalitarian model to function and as long as we live in a OPEN, FREE, RESPONSIBLE SET UP we can justify the freedom given to us by Tanvir ji, this must be the goal for all owners but in many we find a hard task master breathing behind our nouse at times unfairly biased twards their close circle. to the extent possible we have just the visible public circle so no bias or favors r exchanged but some useful material I hope this grows better with such a great space around and fresh air a plenty - G B Prashant Kumar Life Member ICAS. /database?method=reportRows & tbl=6 ________________________________ rohinicrystal <jyotish_vani Wed, February 10, 2010 10:21:00 AM I DISAGREE -- Re: NOTE... 9/02 Dear " Kumar jee!
