Dear Mr Ramamoorthi,

Well If you are comfortable using any regular software - JHora

similarly is highly intuitive to use.

To begin with there is a online help - Click on Help on the menu bar

and then select Contents or Gettting started.

This is a documentation of using JHora and some brush up of important

jyotish concepts.

On opening JHora the system displays a chart of the current time.

You can cast a horoscope by clicking on the icon that reads DATA with

a picture of clock on it. This will open a window to enter date, time,

place, latitude, longitude etc., and then select OK. The chart is now

cast for the details entered.

Save using Save button,

Navigate to different sections of the chart using the Tabs -

[strengths] for graha balas, [Dasas] for different types of dasas,

[Transits] etc. Some windows may have additional tabs on it

Also on each of the tab (including Basic) do remember to use the Mouse

right click for changing views, options.

More options on the Menu bar - Preferences for selecting Ayanamsa.

Dear Anuj ji,

I think,you should go abroad .

I could understand your problem though you have joined this group

for the last two years and least interested in learniing KAS or have

shown enough activity so far.

Sa Ve and Ma besides Ju,Me,Su all are somehow falling in different

sectors,so you might be having essence of all these planets which

endorse the above.

A person always have desire to go abroad to earn the money.

While looking abroad visit,its 3rd house if migration is with family and of

permanant nature.Also from 9th house we can see a temporary travelling

and for travelling only then 12th is focused as house B etc.

So you might be earning money through business or with the help of

your wife.Karaka for 11th house is Me in 7th house (means in 2nd house)

and its also LoD for 9th house.So this may not be favourable for 7th house

matters.

Mer as 6th lord is with 5 bindus placed in 7th house being karkatwa for

My namaskaram to all the learned jyotish vidyapathi here.

Learned ones, I am chandan Lohia, born 12-april-1972/kolkata/9:48 pm.

My dilema is every time i start any work, it starts off well but meets a lot of

obstacles and ultimately delays. The yash i get slowly gets diluted and in

general the boss is never happy with me. What is the reason for this? is it my

previous birth karma and / or something i have done in the past? are there any

remedies for this state? how can i increase success in my life? Is there any

specific line of work i should be choosing? I am currently in engineering field,

but have an xposure into many different industries and work functions.

Dear Chandan Lohia,

Basicaly your chart indicate certain weaknesses & discontentment and a sort of

indicisiveness and unstable mind (not craziness).

How you want to deal with it is upto you.

Moon is with very low paksha bala (krishna chaturdasi) and with a debilated &

retrograde mercury - also 4th lord from moon in the 5th house.

4th from Lagna has Gulika in Saturns house with navamsa in the 4th of Moon.

Both the Gulika Rashyadhipathy & Navamsadhipathy are in the kendra of Lagna &

Moon.

The above indicates some strong influence of Gulika in your family / house and

need guidance

My namaskaram to all the learned jyotish vidyapathi here.

Learned ones, I am chandan Lohia, born 12-april-1972/ kolkata/9: 48 pm.

My dilema is every time i start any work, it starts off well but meets a lot of

obstacles and ultimately delays. The yash i get slowly gets diluted and in

general the boss is never happy with me. What is the reason for this? is it my

previous birth karma and / or something i have done in the past? are there any

remedies for this state? how can i increase success in my life? Is there any

specific line of work i should be choosing? I am currently in engineering field,

but have an xposure into many different industries and work functions..

Dear Mr. Lohia,

Your planets are quantitatively strong. This is good (benefics) and bad

(malefics) news!

Gulika's presence in the fourth house (sukha) and with debilitated moon in

navamsha in the 11th sector would indicate a void -- failed efforts that do not

end up in gains. Gulika is right across from the 10th house and its dispositor

saturn is aspecting it as it occupies the 7th with the lagnesh and this saturn

is placed in debilitated navamsha in the 4th sector (again!) with the exalted

vargottama sun. Sun itself, though having barely entered exaltation (according

to the ayanamsha I utilize) is placed in the 6th house and will give secondary

or subordinate roles particularly because it is placed on an intercepted house

(my observation published and shared earlier). All these factors are afflicting

the 10th house indications (success and fructification and Yash). To add to all

that, your AK is rahu devoid of rulerships in this chart and is placed in the

3rd house and thus causes harm to motivation, initiative and efforts. You get

discouraged and those who wish to criticise you get the 'ammunition' to justify

their pointing fingers at you. Note that rahu is in 3rd sector in navamsha too

and in meena which is not a good navamsha sector for a malefic like rahu to be

in.

I you have been seeing an increasing 'harassment', criticism and decline in your

personal motivation since later part of April 2007, then you could expect a

gradual improvement during April 2010 to November 2012. However, given the

generally difficult placements, please use this period for understanding

yourself and how you fit into your surroundings -- better! Do not let little or

even big successes go to your head. The period from November 2012 to 2016 will

bring surprises of good and bad kind and you need to prepare yourself

physically, mentally and spiritually for that period.

In this chart there is the indication that the spouse will provide meaningful

and useful advice, particularly if she comes from a family that had a higher

Begin fasting as rigorously as possible on Saturdays. Unless there are any

products, fruits -- no salt, no oil, no spices. If you make a mistake on a

certain saturday, repeat the same procedure on the sunday following it.

Also, provide some volunteer service on Fridays. Not charity, but actual service

to an organization that helps poor women, education for female children or other

women's causes.

Plan on doing this for at least 9 years starting right away. Keep a journal

which records your experiences during the 6 months with dates and some details

about the events etc. Let me know in about 6 months how you are doing and then I

will review.

Please let me know also, if you do not begin this and if at some point you are

unable to continue.

Dear REspected sirs,

My most sincere and deepest salutations .

I am amazed at how much can jyotisha predict and amazed at the accuracy of

your predictions. My sincerest thanks for the same.

I have been interested in scriptures since a long time, have done a svadhya of

the puranas, upanishads and shrimad bhagvad geeta, and many other boos like the

egyptian book of dead and book of toth, norse , greek and celtic mythology and

scriptures, as well as buddhist and jain scriptures. yes it interests me deeply,

and i find them speaking to me as if in person.

I will start the shree rudra stuti and path ASAP. Can i do the spathasahti path

myself following the shree rudra stuti?

My job entices me to travel and travel both domesticaly and globally at times

for month or two at a strecth , so is it ok if i do my path while traveling or

in foreign land? I am looking at ways to improve my performance and thus the

quality of life. hence should i look at any particular aspect of myself?

I will consult a good astrologer for Gulika and revert with the results. I have

been told that pitradosha runs inthe family and hence had tried to go to

trayambakeshwar for puja and nivaran, but like many other plans had to cancell

this one at the last moment on insistance of the boss. is pitradosha and gulika

the same?

on fickle and indecisive mind, i try to meditate and bring sthirta , hope i am

successful. My intentions is not to blame o learned ones, but to understand and

work towards a better future with hope and light. I have always considered

others better than me in some way or the others and respect and venerate all the

planets.

I have recently on advise of a family astrologer started wearing a golden yellow

topaz( 7 ratti) and am contemplating wearing an emerald ( 12 ratti) as a locket.

is it ok?

On serving the organisations serving women as a volunteer, does this refer to

educating them ? or helping them in any other way? i will start the fasting also

, i am in general a light eater and fond of soups and lentil , etc., so will try

to do this and hope i am able to please the lord saturn, whom i have always

venerated as " moksha dayak " and " karma phala mukti karak " .

I do a daily puja of surya and am a devotee of shri krishna( i cosider him

residing in the soul of my soul), and leave things into his hand. to me the

prevading essence in everything i see and look at.i donot see him as a form ,

most ofthe times he is formless, just present and felt.

yes as rightfully pointed out i am a jack of many trades, and yet master of

none. what should i concentrate on to give me the best benefits? philosophy is

of deep interest so is spirituality, so is engineering and trade. i have had the

fortune of reading the works of various philosophers globally ( thanks to my

various gurus for that). but cannot contemplate a career in philosophy in any

way. I have had the fortune of reading the scriptures and most modern scientific

texts in the same breath, yet i find somethign is missing, what?

I generaly heed my wife's advice who does hail form a better off family than

mine. thanks for the advise on that too. I will pay closer attention to her

words.

i am greately obliged to the forum for the guidance and will keep you updated on

various progress. In the meanwhile if there is anything else i should know and

work towards , please guide me.

Dear Chandan Lohia,

If you visit Tirumala Tirupati, You shall find " it is not the darshan you get,

it is the darshan he gives " . I used to wonder the depth of its meaning.

Astrology & planets can indicate minute details about a person. But it depends

on what " he " wants us to see.

You have the blessings of Jupiter - " Jeeva " - So ahead with your persuits.

You can recite Saptha Sathi yourself.

Remember that in our persuits & reach out its is always better to have anchor
