A serious implication of nodes,particularly ketu under saturn's aspect seems to

shake the world with major catastrophes.earlier it was Haitii

and now it is central chile having far more consequences of destruction.

Nature's fury is once again evident when a most powerful earth quake of 8.8

magnitude hit around 3.30 A.M(local time) on 27th feb Chile and surrounding

areas.The tremors were also felt Hawaii,sandiego and as far as Japan.It is also

expected a Tsunami type of major incident was also described.The humans loss of

this 90 secs duration was seemed to be the end of universe for local people.

Mars debilitated with moon in cancer,sagittarus raising sign with lagna lord in

saturn's kumbha in 3rd having jupiter,venus sun and Mercury,dispositor saturn in

virgo aspecting ketu in 7th.

I've chosen the Independence chart; and, as we've seen so often, the influence of Ketu is plain to see. Dasa of ME-RA-SA is running with dasa lord Mercury (in nakshatra of Mars) conjunct RA/SU in 11th. Mercury lords both 8th and 11th bhavas whilst P/D lord Saturn, occupying lagna, owns 3rd & 4th.

TRANSIT:

Ketu was/is currently transiting 8th house in sign of dasa lord Mercury. Ketu, as we know, signifies (amongst other things) uncontrollable mass of energy, striking phenomenon, sudden events, accidental incidents, hectic situations, panic etc; whilst 8th house itself signifies dangers, accidents, upheaval, calamity, death and so forth.

P/D lord Saturn, karaka for 8th/12th was/is currently transiting (natal) dasa lord Mercury, bhukti lord Rahu and lagnakaraka Sun in 11th whilst Mercury, along with SU, JU and VE was/is transiting 4th house in sign of Saturn. 4th, as we know, governs land, buildings, landed property etc.. Note both natal Mercury and transit Mercury occupy nakshatra of Mars who himself occupies nakshatra of Ketu in rasi.
