Guest guest
OOPS! My sincere apologies for not including a significant segment of society who are Atheists who can be way more fundamentalistic than many Religious Types! Some of these Atheists, though not believing in God or this or that religion, have been known by me to be avid believers in astrology (CAVEAT: ATHEISM is not necessarily mutually inclusive of SCEPTICISM!). It is a complex matter and cannot be covered in one short forum post. And I have known a few Atheists who dreamed of Snakes and reported dreams of levitation and astral flying etc -- and please take my word for it: no rajma and rice dinner was involved! I verified!! When I was a very young child, I read two stories. One about Bhanumati ka Pitara and the other about Pandora's box! My question was: How were all those things packed into those boxes in the first place and WHO packed those in...? Think of Healing Energies! NO RELIGION HAS THE SOLE OWNERSHIP OVER THOSE! Guest guest
dear RRji nice to hear your wise sayings. the atheism and theism are same as advaitam and dvaitam as told by adi shankara but not to let the unrealised bhakts getting confused, the presentation remained the same in hindu culture by painting advaitam as positive and drubbing atheism as negative. btw to get such higher level dreams, i heard in himalayas that one must have had before sleep, besides rajma and rice, at least 200 grams of deshi ghee. albeit unrelated to astrology, james cameroon presented in avtar, how the same almighty is all pervading and all permeating even in the human type creatures with tails in a distant moon called pandora. possibly because these vanara type creatures are all vishnu bhakts (looking like vanaras but wielding bows and arrows) and are wearing the vaishnava symbol on the forehead and the giant eagle as their vahana. anyway hindus were delighted to note how a vishnu prototype movie became the biggest grosser in the world to cross three billion dollars corresponding to the three lines on the forehead. serpent has always been given highest positive important in our vedic belief, because where would narayana float in water without the snake, how lord shiva looks without his ornament snake, where lord krishna would dance if kalindi snake hood is not there, nay, all devatas and rahu ketu as well are alive today only because of drinking amrutham (nectar) which was possible due to churning of the ocean with the snake. anyway, as per conventional tradition and wisdom, there were shastras laid down with books in sanskrit as well as local languages in india that give results for shakunas, swapnas, moles, fall of lizard. for lizard there is a golden lizard somewhere in tamilnadu and if touched or sighted, all negative results of lizard are negated as per the belief. all these are based on belief and are followed only by the believers. albeit many opine snake as a positive dream as it denotes or connotes kundalini awakening etc., as per swapna shastra, it is a bad omen. after getting such dream, the natives may recite the following shloka: sahasra parama devi shatamoola shataankura sarvam haratu me papam doorva duswapna nashani. after saying this shloka, the shastra says that one must put green grass on the head and recite either panchakshari or ashtakshari 108 times and then throw away the grass. according to swapna shastra, dreams occurred during day do not materialise. the night duration of getting dreams is divided into four quarters and dreams occuring in the first quarter will happen within one year, second quarter will happen in six months, third quarter within three months and around sunrise within a day. there are hundreds of books written and avalable in bookstores acrosss india on shakunas, swapnas, moles, lizard falling etc., and it is hightime we have these as part of curriculum in ICAS, BVB, SJC etc., as part of allied astrological subjects or prognostic systems. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com , " rohinicrystal " <jyotish_vani wrote: > > OOPS! > My sincere apologies for not including a significant segment of society who are Atheists who can be way more fundamentalistic than many Religious Types!
