Or, Saturn and Jupiter together with Venus in navamsa? Will this delay define the sector in which the marriage will take place? I assume, yes. If there is a moderate delay then the marriage with take place in the 2nd sector; and if there is substantial delay the it will be in 3rd sector. This is my understanding. Please guide. So due to the moderate delay, the marriage can happen in the 2nd sector of Mercury sub period. Further refinement can be done with Sun's transit (same as PDF). Assume here that Ju gave delay on one had and moderated on other hand thereby offsetting it (roughly speaking). So delay is due to Sa. Now compute exact delay. That also might be given in lesson or some post. I.e find when Sa comes to 0 deg of pre sign. So after that u can marry. Sometimes when most of the dasa is over the next dasa will give marriage. So here u can narrow down further using suns transit. For practice just try Karans chart and also make an attempt too. Cheers !!! In Karan's chart, the way I would have proceeded is as follows - In H7, Venus and Jupiter are strongest. Saturn aspects 11th lord Moon, so some delay could be expected. However, Jupiter aspects Moon too so it nullifies the delay. THe LOD and LOE for the 7th house are Jupiter and Sun. But Sun has less than 12 points. So Jupiter's sub- period is the most likely candidate. Venus/Jupiter is what I would have picked up too. Saturn is in Virgo in the natal chart. The delay due to Saturn will end when Saturn transits into Leo later this year. The date is Oct 19, 2006. This person will be running Venus/Mercury dasha. Assuming moderate delay, I pick the second sector of this dasha - from July 21, 2006 till July 01, 2007. So the marriage can happen during this period after Oct 19. Next step is to find the PDF. The first PDF after Oct 16 is Venus/Mars. But Mars has less than 12 points in H7 - so it is neglected (assuming the marriage will be a happy one!!!). The next PDF is of Venus/Rahu. Now Rahu is samdharmi of Mercury and Saturn. Both these planets have good points in H7. So, rahu can give marriage. So I predict the marriage will happen between 24th Oct and 5th Nov. Can Ash, Manoshi, Bala etc.. review this analysis and let me know if I am missing something here?
