Fact of the matter is that Nature does not have emotions and just maintains its natural rhythm, making and breaking, Creating and Destroying and through that Sustaining if that too comes about. It APPEARS to aid and care for us, like a mother, when we run along with it, and breaks us when we get in its way! Like TIME, it is simply running along its own merry little way but does give the illusion at times to human beings that Nature was created to serve the needs of human beings. Until they run into a Tsunami, draught, flood or pandemic -- all created within Nature's laboratory, but not with the human being in mind, or its needs, expectations, hopes etc. Creation and Destruction are the reality, Sustenance is an unintended byproduct and in some ways an individual or society or nation or the entire globe's personal choice. If we understand and flow with the natural rhythms (such as the topic of this forum!) sustenance becomes easier, but if we run around, helter-skelter, we run the risk of getting in Her way.
