Namaskar Respected Senior Astrologers,Freinds,

 

My Brother had consult a very old

Astrologer in his city and after watching his Horoscope,He said that

there are 3 Locks in this Kundli:

1. Moon,Ketu in 2nd house i.e Grahan Yoga

2. Rahu in 8th house (Very Bad)

3. Retrograde Mars in 4th House also bad

 

Untill he performs remedies for these

Locks,Nothing Good cann't be happened in My brother's Life so as a

Remedy the astrologers Suggest some Pujas,that are:

 

1. Nagbali Puja

2. Narayanbali Puja

3. Kal Sarp Dosh Puja

 

All these Puja are for Rahu and Moon Ketu(Grahan Yoga) and should be

performed at Triyamkeshwar(Nashik) Only.ALso he had to wear a Silver

Bangle with Cutted Ends

 

Then For mars a Puja has to be done at Kaal

Bhairav,Ujjain.

 

So,plz tell me about the concept for these Puja's and

it's Validity.

Dear Member,

 

Remedies provided for afflictions by experienced Astrologers should be

respected. Whatever you read on the Internet & skepticism that surrounds these

matters are mostly written by people who have very little experience in real

situations.

 

However, it is always good to understand what these rituals are and their

significance or lack of it with respect to a particular person.

 

You have provided three conditions and remedies for these three.

 

1. Moon,Ketu in 2nd house i.e Grahan Yoga

2. Rahu in 8th house (Very

Bad)

3. Retrograde Mars in 4th House also bad

 

Caveat: It is difficult to say what the above represent without knowing the full

chart. Yet

 

Moon + Ketu in the 2nd (Kutumba / Dhana sthana) can indicate the influence of

durga / kali / Yogini / Yakshi(Ni) in the family. It also indicates volatile

financial condition, illness to family members, expenditures, disputes etc.

 

Rahu in the 8th surely is not good. But Rahu takes the qualities of the sign and

its lord or the planets that are associated with it. Rahu as such can indicate

Sarpa devatha or ancestors, particularly grand father also. So unless we know

its associations, it is difficult to say what it represents - Sarpa devatha or

ancestors.

 

Here the point is if it is Sarpa devatha, the remedy could be Naga Bali if Rahu

is afflicted by Gulika, Mars etc or in Martian signs & a few other indications

such as Samhara nakshtra, samhara khnada, mrithyu bhaga etc. Otherwise ordinary

propitiation will be enough. But if Rahu represents the ancestors by its

association with Karkata / simha rasi, sun, moon , 9th house etc, Narayana Bali

could be done as remedy.

 

There is no such thing as Kala Sarpa Dosha. The affliction caused by rahu/ ketu

should be assessed as above and remedies done accordingly. Sarpa dosha is also

indicated by even Sun, Moon, Gulika and planets in Sarpa Drekaana, particularly

in Vrischika sign.

 

Recently I came to know that, the pooja done for the so called Kala Sarpa dosha

at Kalahasthi temple, Andra is basicaly Narayana Bali. I am yet to confirm this

personally. Public may not be aware of this. This only removes the affliction if

attributed to ancestors and not Sarpa devatha.

 

Mars in the 4th could indicate Bhairva / Durga / Lord Narashimha depending on

the signs, varga etc. So the aged astrologer could be right when he advised to

do Bhairava pooja.
