Guest guest
Dear Shri Santosh Ji,Dhirendra Ji and others, In fact on this issue couple of time I ventilated my grievance as mails most of them land in the spam box. Even my mails sent also found to reach spam on the other side.In fact moderators too have expressed to me. I thought is mainly server problem.I can not however put onus on them and consider my Internet connectivity is not at fault. I find my connectivity too is responsible besides servers malice. I made it a point to check spam and move couple of message to Inbox every now and then. Yes Mr Santosh,Technology sometimes difficult to be taken as trust worthy with all those high speed connectives and gizmos Vattem Krishnan Cyber Jyotish Services(For all counseling services) Dr.B.V.Raman " Fools Obey Planets While Wisemen Can Control Them " Planets are neutral Controllers of Mans Karma --- On Tue, 3/23/10, santhosh10 <santhosh10 wrote: > santhosh10 <santhosh10 > Re: Spam Folder :Dhirendra Misra is alooted Spam Folder > > Tuesday, March 23, 2010, 1:33 AM > Technology and science cannot be > perfect just as astrology wont be perfect always. Guest guest
Technology and science have NEVER claimed that they are perfect or even complete. They take pride in being an ever-evolving domain! Astrology (or perhaps *some* astrologers) on the other hand have claimed religiously that astrology is perfect and complete and cannot evolve any further (or needs to!). That is where some/much of the problem lies I suppose ;-) Rohiniranjan , santhosh10 wrote: > > Technology and science cannot be perfect just as astrology wont be perfect always. Guest guest
I agree wholeheartedly that technology and science and for that matter any thing else is never perfect. In fact it is hard if not impossible to define " perfect " . We all in all aspects are evolving, learning and thought this process becoming aware of our current status as well as the possibilities of discovery.  astrology is no exception it will always be an evolving combination of science and art. Guest guest
That is why I call astrology a craft. It is an applied discipline and though parts are logic-based there is also something intangible or almost impalpable (despite infrequent loud noises claiming otherwise between their appearances) about astrology. If it were simple logic-based, such as {{this planet or that combination in this or that house or varga = this or that effect}}, then with today's technology, a software would have managed to capture much of the functionality of Astrology. But the TRUTH is that software are still not able to even calculate a horoscope that people could agree upon! How can we even dream to call something so variable or imprecise as SCIENCE! Isn't that incredible? RR_, , PG <darshan261 wrote: > > I agree wholeheartedly that technology and science and for that matter any thing else is never perfect. Guest guest
Dear RR Ji I agree with you that the discovery of the scientific principles is on going and will remain so for ever. all people now believe in gravity and have been able to calculate in some physical measurement techniques its relative value. Gravity existed before its discovery and understanding not too long ago. Similarly new discoveries of the complexities of human body are being discovered by the medical scientists. I think we humans have to marvel at the discoveries we have already made and be in awe what might be discovered and understood many years from now . I wish I understood astrology better( I am trying) and hope that people such as your self keep on learning and adding to the existing knowledge.
